Well it will be MUCH less this year as I spent well over 3 Grand last year thanks to a PS5 Pro and my first gaming PC plus a bunch of games on Steam sales mostly.

This year no hardware except a few controllers. Will be paying for Game Pass Ultimate plus some PS5 games, Steam games and a few Xbox games

Right now I'm gonna guess around $1000 for this year but we will see...
Updated total as of June: $370

Game Total = $250

Dune Awakening
Death Stranding 2
Helldivers 2
Tomb Raider 4-6 Remaster
Prince of Persia Lost Crown
Door Kickers 2

Game Pass Ultimate = $120

$723.23 on playstation games this year. Damn. All digital too which is nuts.

$600 on nsw2 with Mario kart and then another ~$250 on nsw1 games.

So $1573.23 about. Most of the psx games were on sale except for atomfall, oblivion, and tainted grail.

Not sure if i like figuring out how much I spend gaming at the end of June! Probably another thousand by the end of the year.

First day of July, so here's a quick recap of my spending from last month:

£239.28 so far on software. Haven't bought any hardware.

Bit over what I said I'd spend this year but the only games left this year that I plan on buying is Tony hawk 3&4, lumines arise and that 2D terminator 2 game. And I'll probably wait for discounts as death stranding 2 and metal gear will keep me busy till October I'd imagine.

All my subs have run out now so won't be renewing any of them.

July
New PC - £1149
Robocop: Rogue City - £4.49
Xanadu Next - £3.79
Ys Origin: £2.19
Mafia: Definitive Edition: £4.29

I plan to pick up Wuchang: Fallen Feathers on the 24th and that's me done for July. Definitely not buying anything in August. Nope.

Over $500 ?
The incredible thing is that it was initially priced at $680.

But in less than a month, it dropped to $500, and the Mario Kart price was reduced.

At least in Mexico, it arrived, and I waited 2 or 3 weeks and was able to buy it, paying in one exhibition.

July - £1250

Just bought the parts for my first ever gaming PC.....been humming and hawing indecisively for days now but finally did it.

Hoping its a decent build for 1440p 60-120fps!

Trying to be disciplined this year. Here's what I have bought so far. I still have FF7 rebirth and Alan Wake 2 bought and not started yet so really don't need to be buying games. I'm genuinely trying to be more disciplined.

Some of these I have just bought to own digitally as they were 80/90% off

All of these are on PlayStation digitally

Far Cry 4 - £3.74
Battlefield 4 - £0.79
Dave the Diver - £10.39
Red Dead Redemption - £29.99
Age of Empires 2 - £23.99
The messenger - £3.19
Sea of Stars - £15.94

Total = £88.03

Valid as of 16th July 2025

So in the first 7 months I have spent less than £100, pretty good although still probably too much.

So my spending has gone over $1000 a bit ago so I'm not even tracking it any more lol

My latest full game purchase was Death Stranding 2. I almost bought MGS Delta at launch, but decided to hold off.

Decent chance I'll be getting Cronos this month (physical edition launches on Sept 19th).

Will most likely be getting Battlefield 6 around launch and for sure getting ARC Raiders at launch after playing the beta.
