Edgar rules! We need to get a Chloe + Edgar tech nerd team-up to go with the Jack + Tony bad ass team-up.

So many people seem to forget that Tony = Weak. He is willing to let millions die to save his girlfriend. Chase > Tony

I don't understand why that sniper stopped and didn't kill Jack and Tony. Haha oh well

I thought Tony's lines were funny tonight. Offering beer on the job, and telling the bad guy that he's unemployed

And dammit someone spoiled the preview footage without spoiler tags :|

This is not HAlo 2 i mean by the time he would re-adjust his aim and tried to nail Jack or Tony im sure one of those 2 would have got a round off at him.

Tell that to Jack in episode 3 when he sniped two guys in succession, less than a couple seconds. There was enough time to get another round off :p

I also thought Tony was crazy for checking the guy's pulse. I remember in season two when that guy got sniped and the CTU guy was gonna check him out, but Jack pulled him back behind cover, heh

That is Jack. Never ever Question Jack.

Also, wtf was with that terorrism commercial with Keifer Sutherland? Is it cause people are offended this season or something? Heh

I didn't pay attention, but it was pretty much something about the stuff in 24 is fiction, how it isn't linked to terorrism in the real world or whatever. I guess the complained are really that bad though to make an announcement like that. The only other announcement they've done that I can remember was the gun safety speech for last season

Haha, another funny Tony line in tonight's episode: "watch your step, the dog likes our lawn". That was like a deleted scene material

No, this one was specifically telling people that the US Muslim population is against terrorism. It was a direct response to the people who complained.

Wow! One powerplant in meltdown mode?
Mole killed? That escaping guy killed? They had a connection and now they are both death. And preview of next week: holy: it's beginning!

I thought the mole was only knocked unconscious... I don't remember anybody definitely checking her one way or the other.

I love how this episode played with my emotions.. had me hyped to start, pissed off in the middle, and hyped again at the end...

Oh hell yeah, Tony and Jack together....this is the real strike team

NO! JUST 4 MORE WEEKS!

Who's Tony? All I saw was that Bauer got him thrown in jail and was considered a traitor to america.

Jack got him out of jail, I believe.

The way Tony spoke (in that convenient "Hey, Tony, tell the viewers what's up" dialogue), it seemed as though Jack convinced President Palmer to pardon Tony...which would mean Tony was in jail for less than three months, since Palmer lost the election at the end of last season.

This is my first season watching 24. And I gotta say, this show is WAY TOO PREDICTABLE. The action is fun to watch and the acting is generally good. But get some decent writing! Plan out the whole season ahead of time with good plot twists!

In the last few episodes I told my girlfriend how I thought the show was going to end at the 30 minute mark and I was pretty much right on the money every time...

I thought Palmer decided not to run for re-election.

What-fucking-ever.....he knew they would get Saunders anyway. Tony still rocks, fuck the haters! (Although Chase has balls of steel for letting Jack chop his hand off--Tony hasn't shown that level of hardcoreness yet!)

Michelle will be back next episode, I'm calling it right now. Remember, whenever there's a mole at CTU, they bring in someone from division--and with Chappelle dead (RIP you poor bastard), the only characters they could bring in are either Brad (old white guy) or Michelle--and most likely Michelle (as she inherited Chappelle's Deputy Director position, IIRC).

A thought I had at 2am.

If Marianne has amnesia, I am going to kill Sheena Easton (She's on my TV right now, she gets my anger)

Did anyone else think for a split second that when Tony said "Actually, I'm currently unemployed" that he was going to take the guy's offer of a bribe?

I hope not! Tony first must have a face-off with Michelle!

No doubt - either trying to do something heroic ("I'll be the one to lower myself in the nuclear reactor, Jack!") or
taking a bullet for Michelle, if she does indeed return

Well I don't think they are trying to be unpredictable, there is a reason why they zoomed in on the car keys to the door when Mariane was trying to get in to the car. They showed that Marianne knew that they knew that there was a mole in CTU. I don't believe they're trying to be sneaky about it.

This has been great stuff. Just started with this season, though have generally watched the praise over the years. Despite not having seen it, I suspect I'd like the Audrey/Jack dynamic better than when he had the daughter to watch out for anyway. And Jack does kick ass.

High-quality cast everywhere else too, not just Sutherland, but Devane is on the top of his game too. The guy playing the President, wasn't he in some comedy a while ago? Doing a good job here in a much more serious role.

I thought he *couldn't* run considering the mess he and his brother were in and the fact that the current president (then senator) was going to blackmail him.

You're both right. He decided not to run, because he couldn't due to the blackmail.

Stop arguing with each other when you're kind of both saying the same thing.

Oh, and add me to the camp who thought Tony had a slight chance of turning evil when the guy asked him who he worked for and there was a long pause.

Yeah, that scenario immediately came to mind.

And obviously, I've watched the episode again....I found it HILARIOUS when Curtis said, "Where is she" when referring to Marianne. He said it like, "Oooowweeee! Now where the fuck is that bitch? I'm gonna snatch a knot in her ass." :lol :lol

That's Geoff Pierson, Jack Malloy from Unhappily Ever After.

Maybe he brought Mr. Floppy with him on Air Force One! :lol

Only just watched this episode. Damn this thread died quickly, though the episode wasn't great, it was still pretty decent.

Who's Mandy by the way? The hot lesbian girl from one of the previous seasons?

Man, I find it really hard to remember what happens in each season. :lol

For the record I never doubted Tony. he's a patriot at heart. If he didn't give a shit he would have stayed at home.

He's totally gonna be the new field agent at CTU when it's all over, that or something else at CTU. Maybe Michelle will hire him after the crazy girl kills herself or a doctor and head CTU bitch quits cause she can't take it. She kinda sucks at ehr job anyways.

For those that don't know the girl who plays mandy is one of the stars on the L word on showtime... who does quite regularly get naked heh
