LOL, a shitty ending to a shitty season. :lol

Hm? Made sense to me. After everything that happened during the day, he just broke down. It wasn't some cliffhanging or anything, but it made sense.

Season 4 was the shitty one btw. 2nd half of season three rocks. :P

agreed

I thought season 3 was sorta crappy while it was being aired, but looking back at it, it wasn't actually that bad. Besides the first few episodes...

:lol That fits this thread perfectly.

Of course no one should be surprised.

Sony Cambridge seems like a good developer and all but in ptheir games they just miss a thing or two that makes their games above average. For example Primal and Ghosthunter are excellent looking games and are decently fun and they both have some flaws as well that prevented them to be much better.

But this has to be their worst project yet.

Pffft....Season 3's ending is garbage.

At this point, I'd say that Season 1 > Season 2 > Season 4 >>>>>> Season 3, in terms of endings.

Season 3 was just laughable in terms of plot. Let's create a million different plotlines
(Virus outbreak! Salazaar behind bars! Jack breaks out Salazaar after putting him back in! Salazaar doesn't kill him but trusts him! No virus! Chase goes down under to save Jack! Jack doesn't need saving cause of Bauer POWER! Michael Amador...oh NOES! NINA? WTF! Amador betrayal! Salazaar dead! Amador on the loose! Virus outbreak! Nina in custody! Nina gets out of custody! Jack offs Nina w00t!!! Jack finds Amador! Amador jests! Some random dude from Jack's past comes into play! Saunders on the loose! Virus outbreak! Saunders on the loose! Virus outbreak! Chase loses his hand! Jack stops virus! Jack AM CRY!)
and make it one coherent season!

Sure, Season 3 has its moments
Chappelle! Nina! Gael!
and better villains than Season 4 but the plot just jumped ALL OVER THE PLACE.

I loved Season 3. I would put the seasons in this order:

Season 1>Season 3>Season 2>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Season 4.

Day 5 is awesome so far despite the last couple of "slow" episodes. :)

I agree with the review (I've got about 3 gametime hours left in the game), especially about the driving sequences. UGH.

But the story/production values are some of the best around. Worth it for any 24 fan.

I loved season 4, but thats probly cause I watched it almost all at once (13 hours non stop :D ).. season 3 on the other hand sucked (first half of course), i feel sorry for the people who had to wait through 8+ weeks of shitty episodes

What? Season 2 was perfect, far better than any other season. And Season 3 was crap, the whole Salazar/virus story sucked.

Season 2>>>>Season 1 = Season 5>>Season 4>>>>>>>>Season 3.

and again - american media hates european games.

and btw. ign rated the chronicles of narnia (ps2) with a 8+ note. just laughable.

a shit game is a shit game, regardless who makes it, dude. i'm sure garnett didn't go look at the box and say, oh, this game was made on the wrong side of the atlantic, so we best knock some points off...

/tinfoil hat

its not a shit game - sure its no AAA title, but its way better than most other american games like true crime 2, james bond, punisher...

Hey wait a minute.. I haven't played the lastest James Bond game yet but Everything or Nothing was pretty cool.

imo not - it was very unpolished in every aspect (gameplay, controls, visuals, sound)

There's a bit of a gap between a game being unpolished... and a game being... bad. I don't remember any visual or sound issues standing out since you've mentioned that.

QFT!!!

Day 5 is shaping up to be my favourite so far.

A 6 sounds about right from what I've played so far. It's far above average in presentation, and about average in gameplay and graphics.

IGN's 4.2 seems pretty low. The game isn't a travesty or anything like that. I'd score it higher just for the presentation.

I want a MGS Saga/LE DVD for this game where they just piece together all the cutscenes.
I don't want to play the game, I'll pay $30 just for that LE DVD. :lol

yeah, i think the score is ridiculously low, especially for a game that they gave a 9.5 to on presentation. From the demo I played, I thought it was a fun. A 4.2 basically says the game isn't fun at all.

quick question for those who own it:

How the hell do I lose the tail in that mission right after the helicopter (with undercover Chase and captured Kim)? I have no trouble reaching the white car but I've been driving around for 30 minutes and haven't even come close to losing the squadcars chasing me.

For those of you who have played it, would you say the game is entertaining enough to watch if you're a 24 fan? I'll slog through some mediocre gameplay if it means my roommates and I (who are all big 24 fans) can enjoy a good story.

The 1up show clips made it look below average, imo.

Definitely. My fiance has watched me play up through the first five hours, and has really enjoyed it.
