Some clips from the CDPR website

And here in a combined 37 minute video

Looking really good and performance seems good too!

Looks like DLSS is NSW2 cheat code.

Your thoughts?

Looks pretty good. Looks like the Switch 2 has Nvidia's DLSS secret sauce. The Switch 2's power looks somewhere between a PS4 Pro and Series S.

CDPR doing some srs god's work here, game looks and plays much better from last gen versions, DF is claiming Switch2 is barely above 1050ti specswise but here quick vid so u guys can see how cp2077 runs/looks on 1050ti:

Dips below 30 all the time even on 1080p low settings...
Imho thx to dlss and optimising for single platform switch2 punches at least 50% above its weight/specs, at least in that footage compared to 1050ti footage in this particular game.

On a tiny screen without RT & PT, the game is a nothing Burger.

It's like watching a Christopher Nolan IMAX presentation...on your phone.
It looks good enough to not break the artistic style of the game, if your interest in games is only for the graphic quality and not for the gaming experience maybe you should consider watching movies and the latest blockbusters instead of playing video games.

Looks impressive.

It is however a last gen title. Some pop in is obvious.

Still pretty impressive if this is handheld. I would expect ROG Ally to have this level of graphics with much higher power draw.

Here arguably best last gen console version, xbox one x, so 6tf gpu(almost 3x stronger from ampere 3,1tflops switch2 has).
U can tell resolution is much higher but lack of ssd and superweak jaguar cpu makes game drop to 20fps later seen in sportscar high speed travel section.

for a launch game this is very promising. The switch 2 will get gorgeous looking games.

Nintendo Magic + DLSS + 120fps + Gamechat will do wonders for NSW2.

Pikimin 5 in 4k DLSS UE5 will be amazing.

RT Luigi Maison 4 anyone.

I would argue that CDPR shoehorned this one in last gen consoles but they shouldn't have. Performances are terrible on those consoles with base game. By CDPR's own statement, Phantom Liberty had too many technical hurdles to make it work on those consoles

Here switch 2 is running this smoothly with what looks like medium-high settings.

The game would have benefited from mesh shaders for pop in for sure, even on PC max settings it's everywhere when you drive.

The only redeeming quality of this game is/was the graphics and use of RT. The game itself is trash.

You expect way too much from this hardware.

Im just happy that we finally have a nintendo console thats capable of such visuals. Nobody expected ps5 level here. 1st party will look gorgeous and 3rd party wont look like a turd anymore

From
Lol… The Switch 2 is not going to be capable to run Cyberpunk 2077…

Wow hard disagree. Been playing it recently after the massive patches and its fuck as fuck. Some of the best 1st person combat

The game is now overwhelmingly positive on steam so it seems to be a you problem.

Am thinking even the subpar last gen versions helped it in running much better on current gen systems and also Switch 2.

Something like Witcher 4 will surely struggle.

Or maybe they can make Switch 2 as baseline, then all systems will be flying. At expense of modern rendering techniques of course.

Witcher 4 will be a performance disaster with UE5

Vavra from warhorse said in a podcast that his CDPR contacts are struggling hard with it.

Very sad that they drop REDengine

Looks Docked, also based from my own experience at Switch 2 tryouts. Docked is a very decent experience visually. Handheld really shows the need for DLSS, but it still is CP2077.

For a game that pushes hardware, The Switch 2 port felt sufficiently optimized.

Still pretty impressive if this is handheld. I would expect ROG Ally to have this level of graphics with much higher power draw.

Switch 2's handheld board power distribution was calculated as being 34W btw so some leeway I guess docked its 30W. Handheld ~10W

Very impressive and efficient graphic output even on freaking 8nm

So docked would be in power range of ROG ally when it had to be plugged in with 35W

But anyone go test the ROG ally in silent mode for its 9W profile for cyberpunk phantom liberty… it's terrible

The handheld seems unbalanced from its upper and lower tiers. Not sure what's going on there. Bad engineering?

DF basically says they have to disable lumen to get the Matrix demo to run reasonably on their simulated Switch 2 hardware....and I believe that is essentially simulating docked mode...

AAA UE5 games may be too much for the Switch 2 handheld mode...

10 watts mode on ROG Ally is pretty much indi games machine.

They probably optimised system for 25 watts use. But then put in a tiny battery. So clearly bad engineering that they corrected in ROG Ally X.

I imagine S2 will be much better with 10W.
