Just read through because I didn't realize that a puzzle was part of the press release too. Darn, just EU for now then

Used the check for update function for shits and giggles, and it actually updated with a restart and everything. Now, I keep my 3DS on my wifi at all times except when I take it with me places, and got the update in April (and bought everything). Anyone know what the update was and why it wasn't automatic? US (mine) and JP (wife's) 3DSs both did it.
I'll be heading to Disneyland soon, so hopefully I'll get more international passes and MAYBE get close to getting my last 4-5 states 
(Last time I went was underwhelming in street pass numbers, but will prob be lower this year :/) I swear I'll never get Pueto Rico unless I go to Florida though, or get lucky getting it on a rare trip to Home Depot or whatever.

I got Sweden, Nicaragua and one other country I can't remember during my last trip.
As far as I know, only Miiverse and Browser. Regular Streetpass works fine, for one. Just checked, taking photographs works, Theme Shop doesn't. And the other three regular concurrent apps also do, of course.

Change country to Turkey before starting fishing (recommended as nearest to UK on list and actually works things like Zimbabwe won't let you start Streetpass Mii Plaza). Ta da. Golden Ticket (assuming you're using Miis and not hires). Change country back to UK once done. If you're using hires...you have to slow playing the game down to once a week
I don't have an NNID linked on a 3DS but on a Wii U I know NNID country and system country not matching means Nintendo network doesn't connect (no eShop or Miiverse access) but it is not permanent. I'd imagine it is the same here.

Admittedly I got my pass stuff out of the way easily by owning a Japanese 3DS, so it was a free gold pass every time I tagged it. It's kind of a dumb restriction though, especially considering how much there is left to do after you clear the islands.
Oh, I just noticed that the Science Girl (Scarlet?) in Battleground Z wears random glasses Access Z-Wiki screen. Seems to happen every time you bring her up on screen. Normal pair, slime pair, big pair, those round white ones with the black swirl through them like that nerd in sailor moon, donut pair...
Did she always do this and I just didn't notice or is this the result of getting X number of medals? I know 100 medals

seemed to unlock the donut wallpaper theme. Could this be the reward for 120 medals?

I first noticed that was happening right after I finished the last boss. I think I only had some 30 medals then, so I don't think it's tied to that.
I also finally got the cleaning weapon and associated rare zombie this weekend - it was the last weapon I needed and the second to last rare (don't have enough medals for the last rare yet). Might have been sooner but I end up skipping Battleground Z for time during events.

I don't even use my passes any more :'(
Only fish I have to catch are the baitless ones... which I can't catch.
So I literally can't progress. So silly.
It's the one game I haven't completely finished.

Ah, ok. So it must be a finish the game sort of thing. Weird it took me so long to notice it. lol
I have one last ticket for Mii Force and I never have to play it again... Too bad its the "hardest" ticket to get by beating Arcade mode.

We need new puzzles in N.A. I've had all puzzles completed for weeks now. First time I've ever had all puzzles completed. I feel like I'm not going to have puzzle swap to look forward to during the puzzle swap-fest that is the Zelda concert in September.

Great Streetpass day for me.
I got through my third playthrough of Secret Quest. Only 7 more to go.
I also got all the Treasures in Mii Force. All that's left is beating the last stage without losing a weapon, getting the reputations (just gonna play the easy stages over and over) and beat Arcade Mode. I imagine I'll be putting my play coins towards this to ensure Light Blue Ripples.
Question, is it possible to "restart" a playthrough of Secret Quest? So I don't have to go through the last few stages every time?

Those particular puzzles were not only Japan only but you actually had to go to the airport/McDonalds to get them.
My day at Disney went ok, but about what I expected. Only a few from out of state, but nothing I didn't already have. I did get a new region from Japan though but I think that was from elsewhere in LA. I did get tons of birthdays at least and got a plaza ticket for "getting 3 birthdays in a row" or something like that. I should look up how many plaza tickets you can get through the birthday thing.
22, one for completing each month, 6 are numerical, 3 and 7 days in a row, your birthday and Leap day.
Yeah it shouldn't be bad except for your birthday and leap year ones. I never gave my Mii a birthday so I guess I probably should now...

Well, during my trip I managed to get Delaware
I suspect Miami or Newark will be the best places to get PR (that isnt in PR) since San Juan flights tend to connect through there, I believe my PR Mii was in Miami.
One day I'll make it over to the east coast...I haven't traveled far out from the west yet, but I'm always hopeful when I get to any major airports around here (which sadly always lack, too). Maybe PAX this year can help fill out those blanks.
PAX is a good bet. GenCon was great and I was only there for an hour.

I live in Maryland, but had to pass on PAX this year =/ A friend is going but he isn't nearly as thorough about keeping his gate clear as I am.
Hopefully I'll run into them, but I'm only going Fri/Sun. I often get new AU regions there too.

Went to Gamescom on Thursday, sat down at the Nintendo booth (they had an 3DS area where you rest and charge your device). Met way over 100 Miis there, picked up over 100 puzzle pieces, finishing all my puzzles. My Street Pass life is complete...
Pretty much lost interest in all other Street Pass titles. Got the first wave of extra games and I'm so tired of all the unskippable text and scenes - it takes ages to work through a full lobby. Most games are just too dull and tedious (even though I'd like to have some new hats), therefore I have skipped the second wave of extra games.

The Tomodachi puzzle is pretty cool, was expecting the worst but I was pleasantly surprised.

Well Flower Town is FINALLY done with all tickets. I am NOT perfecting the quests or getting all flower colours. I have no idea how a couple in this topic have had the patience for such a thing. Time to lock it in the vault, for good.
