can someone post a link to the "chopper purse"? Thanks

I wouldn't have a problem with warmer screens if both screens had it, but with me only my top screen has it, and only when 3D is off. So it's very annoying this way because you're looking at the difference the whole time, kinda like the pics Haliela posted
amazon not getting this thing?
amazon not getting this thing?
Amazon's response to my inquiry a month ago was, "We can't sell what Nintendo doesn't give us." Whatever the issue is between those two doesn't appear to be going away. Expect to see it being sold by third parties on Amazon for a 15-30 dollar markup.
Couldn't return it at the store, and Nintendo didn't want to do anything about it saying it's normal. If I pushed a bit more I could've gotten a refund but I eventually kept it since I already did a system transfer and some people tell me that it'll fade away after time (glue setting in or something). I'll wait it out for now, it's not as bad as most people think but it's there and if you're picky you'll notice itThat's definitely not typical. I don't suppose you can still return it? Seems like Nintendo's got a bunch of quality control issues again that hopefully work themselves out prior to me buying one.
lulz o well no xl for me.. I want it for a flat 200 bones... already got fucked for buying the first one for 350... lol for one game. I'll just wait awhile.
if my screen ends up like that I'd be perfectly OK, but some people have posted screens that look like mustard yellow
Not XL related as such but I took some photos of my 3DS to sell on eBay, and I thought some people might appreciate them, perhaps in comparison to the new model.
While I prefer the look of the XL, the original still can look pretty damn good imo! Depends on lighting..

it does look good, but after some fingerprints all over that... stuff looks less pleasant.
Kingdom Hearts 3D looks reeeeeeal nice on this. :3
Again, which screen looks like mustard yellow? Seriously.
Another photo of home screen. This time it's mine:
Seems fine to me.
What's power save mode?
Yeah, and it is turned on on default.
What's power save mode?
No it isn't?
"If you tap power-saving mode ON, screen brightness and color gradation will be automatically adjusted to match the displayed images, and battery consumption will be limited. If you tap power-saving mode OFF, battery life will be shortened and the screen will maintain the level of brightness that you set. (The default setting is off.)"
Earlier in this thread someone posted their XL screen and it was extremely yellow
Saves battery life, the screens become slightly tinted.
Yep. That color temp looks quite a bit better than the stock 3DS. Can't wait to get mine on next Sunday!! XD
Suggests the backlight has a temperature issue when dimmed? Power save only lowers the brightness I think
I'm glad you finally believe it.Yeah, that first one is either defective or power save on.
So dont the 3DS and 3DS XL have the same PPI? With the bigger screen do the games end up looking blurrier? Does text in RPG games (likes Tales of the Abyss) become unreadable?
PPI = Pixels Per Inch, so no, they don't have the same PPI.
Oh. What are the PPI of the 3DS XL? The specs dont seem to be on Wikipedia.

Don't you guys don't have problems reaching the triggers on the new XL? It just doesn't feel as comfy as on the older model.
So has anyone here gotten the grease line/scratch problem that plagues the original 3DS since owning these?
If you don't know what I'm talking about:
