I would be worried about some black out or some power overload due to a storm that could damage the console. Yes there are safety power bars that help but still.
Phone i dont turn off but at the same time i dont care for it as much as i care for my ps5pro.

I shut off my phone about once a week. If i'm not gonna use the PS5 for a day or two i turn it off.

Probably unplug their fridges too. Or defrost and switch off their freezers before going on holiday to save 50 pence.

Rest mode and the box is hooked up to a UPS in case if power glitches. If I go on vacation / travel, then I shut it down.

I keep my Xbox and PS5 off completely cause I don't really use them.

PS5 I only play for exclusives and majority of my library is on Xbox, so I only play on Xbox when I want to play in the living room. Otherwise I play on my PC.

No need to keep them on when I travel for work and 95% of the time I'll play on PC.

Switch is different as I travel with it and charge it everywhere. Lol
