Survivor is pretty much the same thing year after year. Same set, same rules and now, more then ever - same cast.

Amazing Race is much more dynamic and requires a lot more work to put together well. Just think about it - 12 camera crews, going around the world, participating in planned stunts. It is insane how they manage to put it together.
