I don't get 9-11/wiretapping comparisons. Phone bugging is something that the US government has been doing for about a century, and the only shocker is how widespread it was. And it's pretty silly to think that a government agency recording phone calls compares to orchestrating a plot to disrupt global politics, create a decade-long manhunt, and kill thousands of American civilians.

You start a committee filled with biased individuals to 'look into it', nothing changes, and 6 months later everyone forgets. Nothing stops this train.

The government is not recording all our phone calls. It collects metadata. If you think "the government" has the capability or willingness to record every phone call made in the US, you are a conspiracy nut.

The story about this guy just proves how hilarious the "security" measures for the Super Bowl actually are. He had an old press credential from an entirely unrelated event and any time security stopped him, he said "I'm late, I need to hurry for my job" and left them and nobody bothered to look into it any further. He snuck in the same way people have been sneaking in to the Super Bowl for 50 years.

I still think 9/11 should have been properly investigated, because that is what is supposed to happen. It never really happened. The inquiry was a whitewash, with no real authority to do anything anyway.

I've seen several videos surrounding 9/11 and the last word I would use to describe them is "lazy."
In fact, it looks like a shit ton of hard work was done to make those videos and gather "evidence" to support said claims. Whether you believe them or not, your criticism of their work is false; research has gone into many of these "conspiracy theories."
The best 9/11 documentary is the one done by 'The Jersey Girls'. The reason being is that it's not really a conspiracy theory documentary at all. It is more about their disdain in the way the investigation was handled. They were actually part of the group that helped lobby for an investigation into 9/11 in the first place. People had to lobby for an investigation.
They then lobbied for an independent investigation after the way the 9/11 commission was handled. The only thing was, they weren't able to do their job. The Bush Administration decided not to cooperate with it.
I proper independent investigation should have took place.
