Pretty sad stuff to read about.

Fucking Sega fucked everything up with the Saturn and 32X.

Notes: The celebration begins with the Ready 2 Rumble demo because it's the first Dreamcast game I played (prior to the system's release) and after playing it I KNEW I would be owning a Dreamcast. For the most part, games are being played in order of release. Mostly at the beginning I'm playing in order of when I first played the games. Some games are being included because I do NOT remember them fondly, but want to relive memories. They include: Tee-Off Golf, World Series Baseball 2K1, and Sega GT. NHL 2K2 was the last retail release for the US Dreamcast. Fittingly enough, my first Dreamcast's disc spinning mechanism ceased to operate after leaving the system on overnight with my copy of NHL 2K2 inside. Games with white spines being replaced by games with black spines made for a proper stopping point to take a break if I need one.

Have fun playing Dreamcast today, everyone!

Sega,

You and I have been through some trying times. I have been a sega fan since my parents bought my master system back in 88. I was there; albeit, a little late for the genesis, but I was there. I saved all of my money, bought all of your games, and yet you shitted on me. I sucked it up and I convinced my parents to buy your add-ons. You shitted on me twice.

So when I was finally old enough to make my own money I bought your next official console, yet... you shit on me.... thrice times. I suck it up and chalk it up to bad luck, so I decided and bought your last and final console. That time Sega, you didn't shit on me. For that Sega I thank you, with all my heart.

Sega Dreamcast R.I.P. 9/9/99 til infinity

I will post this in all forums that I'm in. To pay my respects to the Dreamcast.

I'll probably go see that 9 movie that comes out on 9/9/9. Even though it probably won't be near as good as Coraline. :( I thought the trailer was interesting at least.

The Coraline BD is awesome with extra sauce. 9 doesn't look like it has a ninth of the character of that, or corpse bride for that matter.

Also, Dreamcast was good. I also didn't feel shat on by Sega CD for all of it's gimmicking glory.

fuck guys im sitting here drinking beer, listening to the new muse, reading this thread...

what I would do to go back to 99 and play the dreamcast for the first time... the first time I played NFL 2k I leterally had to a double take during the between play cutscenes and remind myself this was really a game!

god fucken damn the nostalgia hurts...

Just got done setting my DC's clock like I have to everytime I startup!

I heard the Dreamcast 2 will be BC with DC, Saturn & Sega CD?

Confirm or deny!

I'm sitting here, working a 14 hour day in my home office, drinking beer, reading this thread, wondering why you're telling me this.

The clock stuck 12 and all of the sudden I hear an obnoxiously loud noise in my closet. I think the Dreamcast just became self aware.

edit: my 360 just wet itself. What a powerful roar, as if to mark the land.

edit 2: my Dual Shock 3 started leaking battery fluid. I believe it's a form of sacrifice for all the fallen VMUs.

edit 3: my Wii is gone, only a note left behind. "I wish I could play Samba de Amigo proper."

These are signs of something.

Loading Crazy Taxi 15k...

Dreamcast = 9 Letters.
Wednesday = 9 Letters.
September = 9 Letters.

IT ALL MAKES SENSE TO RELEASE DREAMCAST 1 AGAIN!

Then:

Dreamcast 2 = 10 Letters, meanwhile. So I guess 10/10/10 for Stealth Launch of DC2 guyz?

"dream cast II" - thirteen characters with spaces

13/13/13 believe
