I think the PS4 and Xbone have pretty damn good lineups.

Not sure why you decided to only focus on physical releases though, each have some pretty solid digital titles.

Wii U looks good on paper, but it was the worst one since most of those games were already available on cheaper hardware.

PS4 has a similar situation but pretty much all of the launch titles are coming on times, plus the F2P games. And the Two exclusives too.

Xbone has Dead Rising 3 and I think the FIFA move was a good idea.

Good list, but all first party games should be at the top of each respective list. More organized that way. Also, is Kinect Sports Rivals not a physical release?

Does it matter when you can download those day 1.i dont think it will be separated like this last gen.xbla and psn will be no more and games will be games.

Very strong launches. Nothing that will define an entire gen like Mario 64 did... but solid games top to bottom. Or top to middle, atleast.

Definitely the best playstation launch. The ps1 and ps2 were weak.

I think the Xbox One's Launch lineup rivals the Dreamcast for best launch line-up ever. A diverse line-up with many great games.

Original IPs across all three systems

ESPN Sports Connection
Nintendoland
ZombiU
Driveclub
Knack
Watch Dogs
Fighter Within
Ryse: Son of Rome

Yikes.

It's disingenuous to only consider physical releases when it comes to the perceived quality of a modern system's launch lineup.

xbox and xbox 360 have better launch titles.

Disagree on both counts, but a huge hell no on the 360 launch being better. :)

I literally bought every game that I felt was worth having during the 360 launch. Literally everything. There's no way that lineup looks even half as exciting and packed with potential as the Xbox One lineup does.

Why only physical releases?

Yea, no Killer Instinct is a bit of a slap in the face, as is no Crimson Dragon.

love on your sleeve
Best Wii U launch game was digital only (Nano Assault). Wouldn't be surprised if Resogun is the best PS4 game either.

All of them are pretty meh. That's why have/will not buy a new console day 1. Gotta give it time to find it's footing before jumping in.

A lot of big named titles in all 3 of those line ups, but barely any exclusive content that makes the console purchase an absolute must in my opinion.

Most of those games can be found on a PC.

The only exclusive game from that list that I'm interested in is New Super Mario Bros. U and it was fantastic, but that's also hardly enough reason to buy a Wii U. PS4 and Xbox One need more exclusive content that catches my attention to sway me to pick up their console over a PC, because right now I'm leaning towards a gaming PC.

I love Dreamcast, but it's original Japanese launch lineup was this:

Pen Pen TriIcelon
Godzilla Generations
July
Virtua Fighter 3tb

Difference with Wii U and PS4/X1 is that Wii U launch games are all old games.

But the PS4/X1, while they're new games, still don't look at all that interesting. Will wait for 2014, specifically Feb for PS4 because Infamous Second Son looks really interesting.

Ubisoft is king of 3rd party next gen though, have to say they are pushing out really good stuff.
