Ariana Grande has an amazing voice.

Also, I understand that when you post pictures like that up of your body, you're opening yourself up to criticism, especially if you're a celebrity.

I also totally get that many people may not find her physically attractive.

I just hate the way it's expressed- it's so fucking demeaning. As a thin, flat woman, I'm tired of the vicious insults that insinuate that thin ladies (including myself) a) look like we're 12 year old girls, or b) 12 year old boys. It's just so incredibly immature. HAHA GUYS LOOK HOW CLEVER I AM INSULTING A SKINNY PERSON LIKE THAT! I'M SO EDGY AND ENLIGHTENED. YEAH! REALLY STICKING IT TO THE MAN / SOCIETY.
Okay, asshole.

That is really something, considering the rationalization you threw at the short guys thread for all the teasing and insulting that was being discussed ("fuck them, they're not attractive, biology something"). I guess I could say the same about this, but she does look amazing, even if she could probably change her hairstyle for something more mature and daring.

Lacks the power of instantaneous movement
The unusually high interest many have in this girl is quite frankly a bit creepy.

Out of curiosity, if a black person were to go into a thread about some black actor where a bunch of people were making racist comments referencing his/her skin color and a monkey, and that person said, "dude as a black person this is disrespectful wtf," would you also tell them to stop making everything about themselves?

this is hilarious after your fabulous 'lol get over it' and blatent heightism

This girl looks like every Filipino drag queen I've ever seen, and I know a LOT of Filipino drag queens.

Weren't you the one who said shorties should stop being salty about heightism? Or was that someone else?

If it was you it seems a bit odd that you think Gaf should stop making fun of the skinny but not the short.

Time for a pop news thread to end all pop news threads, isn't it?
Naw, Mumei literally posted like a few posts saying we aren't getting an Arianna general, you won't get one of of these. Or if you want one we have a pop GAF.

Hopefully you aren't a pop GAF member trolling me.

A fine voice and a decent rendition. Definitely ain't no Whitney level anthem. I didn't get no goosebumps but she did well, better than I expected.

In just under two minutes, this young woman managed to render the entire careers of Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, and Roseanne Barr totally irrelevant.

Very glad that talent and poise are finally being celebrated on a national stage.

No lie, she performed pretty well. Her voice was great, and it changed my vision of her (Thought she was just another random pop act)

But I still think she looks 12

lol @ all the salty people complaining about "heightism." Get over it, attractive people are more successful in life. It's unfair but that's psychology. Women with hourglass figures, large busts and large asses with small stomaches, are also the most desirable to straight men (for the most part), just like men that are taller than women are the most desirable to straight women (for the most part).

I do wonder why...maybe it's possible these shorter guys feel like they need to work harder to make it work. I guess it's similar to not being pretty- you have to find another trait, or other positive things to cultivate, in order to attract mates.

I guess you have to work harder. Work harder, but do us all a favor - stop posting in this tone because you're coming across as kinda "salty".

You can't even spell her name correctly in the title, yet you expect me to believe she's "legendary"?

O.P., go the fuck home. You're drunk.

I had to google her name. I'm afraid the reference is lost on me, other than that she's a hefty lass. Mind explaining?

she's an icon of the (barely legitimized and consistently ridiculed)self-acceptance\anti-fat shaming movement

and totally gorg as far as I'm concerned.
