Also all the T&E hate is ridiculous. Those guys put out some of the top level stuff on Adult Swim. Their influence is far reaching.

I am gonna toss my vote in for Robot Chicken. It's just not that funny. Production and writing seems lazy also.

This is a commercial for a toy called B'owl. B'owl is a demonic looking owl doll that frightens children and animals and the commercial announcer isn't even even sure that its something your kid might want. The last shot of the commercial shows it being thrown in the garbage while it makes scary noises and the camera zooms into its eye. Its not a parody of anything, its just absurdism for the sake of being absurd in the same vein of the some of the later Space Ghost: Coast to Coast episodes, with a sprinkle of David Lynch creepiness thrown in for extra flavor.

Like I said, you either get it...or you don't. The fact that so many people found it funny shows that, subjective as humor may be, it was anything but humorless.

I didn't call it pretentious though. I called it as the absurdist "humor" that it is. Yet my post got "lol" as the response. And even though you may not see the parody, I do feel most of their skits are patterned off of some existing informercial, commercial, sitcom, or public access show. Call it what you want. I didn't specifically use "surreal" but I think I have a fair grasp of where the humor is supposed to come from, and yet it's simply not funny. If you want to replace "funny" with "entertaining", then maybe you'd have an argument... an argument with someone else as even then that shit doesn't fly with me.

and i didn't click that link until I finished typing a response convinced it would be some stupid bullshit, and 2 seconds in I'm reminded of their "tird" skit. I think it was a turtle crossed with a bird. I can't remember. It was equally unfunny. Actually, I think the tird thing stands out as having a little humor to it.

edit 2:
ok I admit the glaring eye at the end made me crack a smile. But one second of enjoyment every five minute skit does not a good show make.

Gonna guess that Venture's going to win it, because it's barely a comedy show nowadays. It's my favorite show on adult swim, but humor is very subjective, and since it's only half the focus and the drama is well done, it's coming out on top.

Also, Robot Chicken is the most basic show on Adult Swim, it's nothing but fart jokes and pop culture references, humor that everyone "gets", you're deluded if you think that isn't lasting a few more eliminations.

Edit: Also, everyone that voted against Tim and Eric, watch this and tell me if you find it funny.

Edit 2: I won't blame everyone for forgetting about Moral Orel. At least we got the prequel episode a few months ago, and that's more than I ever thought we'd get.

Wow, what a momentum shift today! As of 11:30 this morning, Superjail was leading Robot Chicken by a count of 20-8. Looked all but over. Then starting with this post from Raxus, Robot Chicken went on an unprecedented run, getting 15 votes while Superjail didn't get a single one more. Brak Show again gets my vote, that show sucks.
