AA was controlling him the whole round and hurt him with a few strikes. Fedor was also backed into the corner by a solid front kick before the ko. He didn't do anything to bait out that knee from AA.

It didn't look like Fedor was looking at Arlovski when it connected, it was kind of a lucky punch for the fact that Arlovski was in the air when it landed. Otherwise Arlovski was definitely winning the fight and backed Fedor into the corner before that landed. He got a little too crazy going for a flying knee, you could tell he was pissed off when he got up because he realized he could hang and beat Fedor but he made a big mistake going for a flying knee. Wham right into a blind haymaker.

The thing is Affliction doesn't have many more guys for him to fight. Barnett would be the next guy I suppose but its hard to imagine that being a compelling draw for them after this one.

It was a perfectly timed punch, that landed right on the chin, the moment AA made a mistake.

That isn't a lucky punch. It was some what lucky it KO'd him, but the punch was timed, and thought about before thrown.

It's not like he was just swinging for the fences and randomly hit him and ended up KO'ing him.

Andrei's striking looked fine, but hurt him? He's fucking Fedor. Plus most of the big movement was from of balance leg kicks. Same with the front kick. You think that HURT him? It was a teep, a push kick.

Regardless of you being wrong, what does that have to do with claiming it's a lucky punch? He nailed him. He threw a solid, really good punch, and hit him. That's not luck, that's being a fucking fighter.

AA was doing great but I don't have any reason to believe Fedor was closed to finished. It'd be nice to see have seen this to go a little bit farther but it is what it is. Fedor swung and connected with some would call a questionable chin and Andrei fell...*shrug*

Can't be like LULZ Fedor was finished if it wasn't for that lucky swing!!!

Also can we bring in Barnett right now and just get that thing over with? No reason to wait months for that bullshit.

It sucks there are no other HWs that are remotely close to Fedor. It's awesome watching greatness, but I would love to see Fedor in a tough and competitive fight.

Yeah because he locked on like a missle directly on the chin to a guy flying through the air while he had his head down and wasn't looking at the target........right. Bottom line is Fedor deserved to win, but Arlovski probably wants a rematch already and for good reason. He isn't one bit scared of Fedor and he was controlling the fight before he got a little too excited with that flying knee.

He landed a strike at the start of the match that staggered Fedor and caused him to drop his hands for a second and he wasn't checking the legkicks. Why do you think Fedor clinched with him?

I'm not so sure about that. Affliction is circling the drain and losing money. They are only being propped up by Golden Boy. It's just about how long they will continue to be propped up.

Fedor actually cornered him at that point which led to the clinch but yes AA was winning the standup.

He was controlling the fight, when Fedor wasn't controlling him in the corner. For what, 2 minutes? Jesus. Some people are fucking retarded.

The fact is, Fedor landed a perfectly timed shot right on AA's chin the MOMENT AA made a mistake. He got knocked out. He got folded like a piece of paper.

It's not like they fought for 4 rounds and AA was owning him then Fedor landed some lucky punch.

He has been in a lot more trouble in his career. It's not like some huge deal AA was landing some shots on him.

Onos a guy in a fight got hit. Crazy.

He was never, ever hurt. To say he was is retarded.

He clinched because that's what he wanted to do? It's a fight, he thought it was a better position. I'm not saying Andrei's stand up was trash, it was sharp, he looked good. But Fedor was never in a bad position.
