"Excuse me, sir, but your testicals appear to be on a leash. Why? And why is that Poohbear-looking gentleman holding the other end?"if i was a blizz dev, i'd walk on stage with my nuts out
'these are my nuts, questions please'
Usually agree, and we all end up supporting China financially whether we know it or not.i don't give a fuck about the morals of that company

This is exactly what I expected when Activision bought them. It was confirmed for me when Activision broke up StarCraft II, which was a complete, single game, into multiple releases. The recent shitshow is just Blizzard sloughing off the vestiges of what it was and revealing the disease that Activision has always been. The assimilation is complete, now they're just not pretending.Of course they're going all-in after the fact the Blizzard brand is going down the shitter (has been for past 10 years maybe?) and last year was just fucking awful.
Gotta laugh at the people boycotting Blizzard. I wonder if they are boycotting all the other companies who are connected to China? Nah didn't think so. Some people just like to piss and moan.
If Diablo / Overwatch look interesting then I'll buy it. Simple as that.
Wrong.People boycotting Blizzard does not make them any better than anyone else who still decides to buy their products.

This is a good point. I'm probably a hypocrite for much of this. Really only took a stand against Blizz as that seems to be an optional way I spend some free time/money. Might have to evaluate how I approach this further.Blizzard fucked up. Years of legacy thrown in trash can. But in the end it actually helped the HK outcry and this is what matters now.
If you won't buy D4 or OW2 for protest reasons, why would you keep buying Nike or Adidas shoes? This is just one example out of a myriad of companies who can't live without China's oppressive methods.

Someone should go resurrect President George Washington and have him go constitutional on Blizzard’s ass.
It would make for a great southpark episode.
that shit is how a zombie apocalypse starts

Im not asking for a Diablo FPS, but if it came to pass I'd be curious. What is all this bullshit about a Diablo FPS and people who actually want that garbage? How does that even work, since Diablo plays nothing like a FPS? I can't even begin to think how incredibly shitty something like a Barb would play in first person ... Randomly generated dungeons tend to look like complete ass in first person as well.
Not everything has to be COD/Overwatch. There's barely an oversaturated market of great isometric games anyways these days.
Let Diablo just be Diablo please.
There's plenty of room for both innovation and throwback for this franchise, without resorting to trying something as hamfisted as being a first person shooter ...
