Freak of the week is a lot of fun. I hope we can get back to the feel of the scooby gang a little bit in season 2. Not every episode needs to be completely steeped in an ongoing plot, while I have enjoyed the last X episodes a lot. Variety and having breather episodes is always welcome, they can still have ties to the main plot, but I am actually super stoked for what seems like a nice back to basics episode. That has a main arc b plot running through it.

Also going to go against the grain here and say that Im glad they we are getting away from seeing Garrett every ep (at least this ep will have less of him).

It's old, but man did this make me love her more.

She officially supports Skyeward!

And Skimmons haha
Amazing, some of her answers are just great and hilarious, like she totally regretting doing this (and well, this)

What do you think of Skimmons?

I SHIP THAT SHIT SO HARD.

She's awesome

Does anyone have a breakdown of all the breaks the show has taken? I kind of want to compile that with the ratings to see what effect it had. I mean the show seemed to be holding steady in the low 6 million live figure until it just dropped to 5.X.

Wikipedia shows the original air dates.

I really like Carol Danvers as Ms/Captain Marvel whereas I think Skye sucks. No reason to continue watching if it ends up pissing on the character by using Skye.

Skye's name isn't Carol Danvers, so what are you worried about? You're literally inventing your own outrage.

So his superpower is that he can turn off the lights without having to flip a switch?

Not exactly Galactus is he......

They didn't take him seriously until he went into Galactus' fridge and disabled the light. That night when Galactus accidentally took out the spoiled Power Cosmic... was when Blackout finally made a name for himself.

Well, it's highly unlikely that would happen, so all you're doing is making yourself angry for no reason. But then again, that's half of this thread.

Noting of consequence is going to happen jn AoS is going to effect the MCU. Interconnectivity is an illusion. Like Plato and cave fire shadows.

I was bummed when I realized this, but it's really for the best. It's asking of a lot of the audience to keep up with everything going on. Casual fans of the movies aren't going to invest the time required to watch the show, so it's better to just have to inconsequential outside of some cameos and small nods.

I'd be surprised if they even bring Coulson back for the movies. It would only confuse the audience.

They should bring Coulson back for the movies and not reference anything out of the ordinary whatsoever. Be like when they introduced Cheadle as Rhodey in Iron Man 2. "Yeah, I'm here... deal with it."

If they bring Coulson back to the movies like that, I firmly believe the only person he should talk to is Banner. Because the one Avenger he didn't spend any time with at all during the whole previous movie... was Banner. Given how little interaction they had, I'm pretty sure Banner didn't know what his name was, that he died, or that he was anything other than a random agent... and even if he did know, it would have meant nothing to him. So he'd likely have absolutely no reaction to seeing him other than "Oh hey... I might have seen you once. Somewhere."

It would also make a great moment later if Banner just casually mentions, "So I was just talking to this guy... Coulson, I think his name was? Anyways, he said-" and everyone else just freaks out.

Sorry, is it a new page?

Marvel.com: When you had that conversation with the producers, what was their pitch to you?

Patrick Brennan: This is the way they explained it to me:
This guy, Marcus Daniels, a.k.a. Blackout, was shrouded in darkness, his soul, everything about him was shrouded in darkness until he comes across this Cello player. And the music was the only light that came into his soul, and it gave him hope and it gave him some sense of what light was. I thought to myself, oh my god, you don’t even need to explain anything else. Because music, to me, is what gets me through most of the time. My kids, my wife, and music. That aspect of it totally intrigued me. I thought that was quite beautiful and very interesting, that aspect of the character.

Now I recall reading something raunchy. Didn't realize they're called fanfics. Now I get the warnings...

.@ElysiaMacht I'm not saying I'm above raunchy reads, I just didn't really know exactly what fanfics were. Now I do. Fascinating.

Warned her to avoid anything someone says is related to Rule 34

TVLINE | You know, the last time I interviewed Nathan Fillion, I asked him if there’s anybody he hasn’t worked with on Castle yet that he’d like to. And he takes out his iPhone, and he actually has a list he maintains, and you are near the top of it. So, when’s that going to happen?

Oh, that’s nice of him. I guess I’ll start stalking him next, I guess!
