So I started this game tonight and I'm having a great time. I wasn't able to play a whole lot [only a few hours], but I'm really enjoying what I've played so far.
One small thing, though.
Has anyone experienced what seems like a slight "skip" in the audio? It seems to happen every few minutes or so [sometimes longer than that] and usually at the end of the dialogue. I'm on Japanese VO with English subtitles [connected via 5.1 surround sound], if it matters. It's not a massive complaint, as it doesn't detract from the gameplay at all, it's just something I noticed.
I'm really hoping I can find a Metal Bat tomorrow. Not sure if I can get it early on or not, but it sounds as thought that it's worth the effort to upgrade. Oh, is there anything I should concentrate on [purchase-wise] for early game, such as stripping upgrades or whatever?
I've already decided to try for the Nana Route [to get that one out of the way for subsequent play-through] and try for Shizuka if I can. I'm not terribly interested in using a guide for my first play, though, so I might just grab the Sister End and then whatever girl I end up with given the choices I make throughout the game. A FAQ/walkthrough is more of a NG+ sort of thing for me.
