I will note, my knowledge of Punchline is next to none. Only of Uchikoshi's involvement.

Infinity series had some, definitely. Not excessive by any means. Probably less so as they went on even.

I just think it would be cool if they continued the series in an anime/game combo release.

Interesting.

Very little of Uchikoshi's work seems to be of the nature. Unless he's doing work to simply have work, its hard to imagine him deeply involved in a series focused completely on that.

Subversion to grab more viewers would be interesting choice of strategy.

I think Novel being uniquely capitalized means that it is intended to stay like that, as one word.

That interview was published today and tied to an event that is currently going on. I can't imagine it was conducted long ago.

And if this teaser is for ZE3, I don't think they'd spoil it in a Famitsu interview. This is a unique situation is the fact that the teaser is from Aksys. We're kinda in uncharted territory here.

I'm not an expert in the Zero Escape series, but why couldn't it be a 999/VLR collection? That would be pretty major in that it would both expand the fanbase (making the development of the third game more conceivable from a business standpoint) and gather the needed budget.

Plus it seems more reasonable for the North American publisher to announce a collection, rather than a completely new game.

The thought had crossed my mind. For instance Aksys had been given permission to be in charge due to the franchise being more popular in the west. As long as Europe is not forgotten I wouldn't have a problem with it.

Don't know of this has been thought of, but I though to try and eliminate letters by "pairing them" so lower case e matches with capital E so both are eliminated, after that anyway we're left with:

Don't see that possibility since I think that the 999 mobile port didn't do well.
And yes, the url seems to indicate that it's an infinity game whereas the web itself seems more like zero escape 3(the style of the numbers, and having 0303 on the beginning)

I highly doubt it being a fourth game in the infinity series. The infinity series is much older than ZE and there already was a sort of unofficial fourth entry with 12Riven. And it wasn't received well at all.
Moreover since the infinity series is barely known in the west it wouldn't really make sense for Aksys to announce it.
As far as I'm aware it is not even clear who owns the rights to the infinity series after the two previous owner going bankrupt.
