I'm on my third listen at the minute. Loved him finding the letters to celebrities that he asked Lynn to send but thankfully she didn't, for Alan's sake.I have and it's a "bloody good time", and those are not my words, but words of Shakin' Stevens
This is a good thread. It tells me who is actually a Brit because I've never heard of this guy before.
I guess this guy took up sculpture
Maybe his brother in law from Leeds will come down and see it.

His audio works are some of the best Partridge output imo. I, Partridge, Nomad and the podcast have all nearly had me off the road laughing. Well worth a listen if you're a Partridge fan.Good call. Is Nomad any good? (I assume so, because I love Steve Coogan in general)
Always worth mentioning that Alan Partridge was actually created in 1994 as a sports commentator for The Day Today (Chris Morris' precursor to Brass Eye, whose paedophile special must be the least PC thing to ever air on television). Coogan's been playing the character for over 25 years across a variety of formats and settings and it's remarkable how fully-formed the character was out of the gate.
He was created in 1991 for On The Hour on radio 4. But that would be splidding hairs.
Nice, didn't know that, so Coogan has been playing him for almost 30 years. Incredible how he's kept the character consistently funny for almost three decades.
A Partridge audiobook read in character is one of the greatest things ever.
