My wife watches Strictly and the female presenters and gay judges are constantly ogling the male dancers and commenting on their bodies. I've seen female sports presenters say stuff like that about male athletes and they face no consequences. Goggle Box is one constant stream of gay men and straight women making sexual comments about men and apparently this is all fine. But, one man does it and it's the end of his career.

What a stupid post. Cancel culture needs the ability to cancel, which absolutely no one in the "anti woke" side has, all we can do is not buy games. Getting cancelled means losing your job, getting banned from social media, losing the ability to use banking and PayPal, getting your book taken off Amazon, etc. it is a totally different thing from just not buying something. The Avowed pronoun idiot still has a job and presumably won't be losing his job no matter what he say.s
To make the point again, the point of cancel culture is that an outrage by some segment on the internet was sufficient to get this person's life ruined. Look at patient zero Justine Sacco. Its not cancel culture if a bunch of people are just whining into the void. And once that segment of the internet realizes the power they had they used it to stifle disagreement, enact censorship regimes (Yoel Roth), and destroy peoples lives.
