Agreed that Daniel is asstastic, but he wrote the second episode of this season and it was pretty damn good nonetheless...and so far this season has been consistently great.

Should be interesting if it can keep it up as Daniel and other writers take over even further.

On Alexis...she's be attractive if I didn't automatically relate her to Rory, and thus to an absolute dumbass who commited adultery and then goes BACK to the idiot she did it with.

And yes, it has gone downhill since 3rd season. Jess was the coolest character... only to be ruined in Season 4.

note that lorelai finally hooking up with luke is the show's swan song. i think the writers predicted (probably correctly) that once they hit 100 episodes, wb would have no more need for them.

Alexis is great in GG. I liked her in Tuck Everlasting as well. I got out of GG early in the fourth season, but got back in again about the second half of the fourth and have liked it more than ever since then. Luke and Lorelai together! Yay!!! I don't know how the Rory-Dean situation is going to turn out well though. Plus this stupid situation with Emily and Richard.

It's funny I should see this thread, as I've been thinking about making a Gilmore Girls appreciation thread.
