How about an Alien game where you... (hold on to your hat!), play a man?A sequel doesn't necessarily mean another Amanda Ripley story, it could be a different character in a different scenario.
Why not both? The game is stuck at 30fps on console.Come on dawg.
We’ve had enough remasters this shitty gen. New games

It’s better at 30fpsWhy not both? The game is stuck at 30fps on console.
If the same creative director is in charge of the game let's hope that he can steer the project in the right direction even with a new team of people at Creative Assembly.Creative Assembly are still around
Good news, but I fear they're going to be mandated to include "new lore" shit with black goo and Engineers.
If you're into that, good for you!

The concept might be a bit too revolutionary for the Alien franchise.
Yes!!!!!!! Go fuck yourself IGN!
Rnuns at 60fps on both Series S and X.
It’s better at 30fps
And because doing both will waste resources and make the sequel take longer
Hey everyone. I’ve just learned some info from a former Creative Assembly developer I met in a tech layoff community. Here's the scoop from our conversation:
Alien Isolation 2: Three years into development. It continues Amanda's journey, ignoring the events of Alien: Blackout.
Movie Tie-ins: With the recent hype around "Alien Romulus," the game is expected to be announced soon. The movie includes multiple references and Easter eggs from Isolation, and there's buzz about a potential sequel integrating more of Amanda’s storyline.
10-Year Anniversary Treats: An official VR release and a remastered version of the original game are in the works to celebrate its anniversary. Both games were outsourced by 20th Century Studios. CA is not involved in these.
Big Reveal Planned: The sequel, remaster, and VR game are likely to be announced together around the 10-year anniversary. The remaster should arrive near the 10-year mark, the VR game is expected in 2025 to avoid competing with Alien: Rogue Incursion, and the sequel in 2026. The team has hinted on Twitter, including a reunion post saying, "Sevastopol lives."
Alien: Fellowship.
Now that you mention it, the first game was inspired by the first film so it would be cool if the second game is inspired by the second film. Or at least combine the best of both worlds, stealth with a few combat sections, that way it doesn't feel like more of the same. I can see people complaining if it has too much action, but I think it makes sense to go that route.A amazing wonderful news to wake up to!
Can't believe it's finally happening! First one was amazing and they captured that immersion pretty well. Like some of the others said, hope it's not VR only. I wouldn't mind if it goes a bit more actionly since Aliens was always my favorite, it had the right balance with action while still making everything horror like. Only thing now is having to wait at least 2 years for it since it's only in early development
I really hope they can make this work. I don't think AI did badly on release, but it didn't do as great either. A common complaint is how it goes on just a bit too long. Maybe if they keep it shorter and keep a tight budget, it can do well. It really deserved it last time.About fucking time. They've probably seen the sales figures creep up over the years to make them think it might be worthwhile. Yeah, a lot of those copies were sold for $5, but it's more about leveraging those numbers to hopefully get a lot of people to buy the sequel.
That would be awesome if the second one is more like the second movie while the first one is like the first! That is what I wish for now that you given me this idea. Honestly I think the action part will drive in a lot more people and get a bigger sale faster. I doubt we'll see much complain if at all as long as they keep it like the movie where it has horror and action instead of making it full on action like Marines and Fireteam. Now that you mention it, the first game was inspired by the first film so it would be cool if the second game is inspired by the second film. IGN, do not let Ryan McCaffrey review this.
Rnuns at 60fps on both Series S and X.
One does not simply walk into LV-426.
I thought all you guys hated sequels? And now suddenly it's okay? What happened?
