Fox News has parted ways with host Eric Bolling, the network confirmed Friday, just over a month after an exclusive HuffPost report revealed Bolling sent inappropriate text messages to current and former female colleagues.

News of the departure comes after two HuffPost reports revealed a pattern of inappropriate behavior by Bolling, who co-hosts ”Fox News Specialists." HuffPost's report, which was based on 14 sources, revealed that at least three current and former Fox colleagues said they had received inappropriate text messages from Bolling, including photos of male genitalia.

Edit: Also, the show he co-hosted, the Specialists has been cancelled.

Good. I feel bad for the victims, I'd hate to work at Fox News with a work culture like that, though I'm sure it's not too uncommon, unfortunately. Also, wasn't he suing the journalist who broke the story? Good luck with that buddy, lol.

Well, I think it comes as no surprise that a network which a) picks female anchors purely based on a white middle America beauty ideal and b) expresses sexist ideas as their official position would have a bunch of sexist, harassing dirtbag male anchors.

I knew it was only a matter of time for them when they both chewed Trump out for Charlottesville. This just seems like the perfect cover, otherwise they just would have gotten a new host to replace Bolling.

Fox News siding with Yashar Ali/Huff Post and the women over Eric Bolling's defamation accusations, and kicking him out. Gotta give props at least.

I really just don't get the mindset here. Do these guys say anything before the dick pic is sent? Is there a warning text or something? Is it like "Hey you know that football game this Sunday, are you going to watch it? Or are you going to watch this:" and then BAM dick pic?

Fox News Channel will part ways with host Eric Bolling, a host and contributor whose on-air presence at the 21st Century Fox-owned network had been growing in recent months, after allegations surfaced that he had harassed colleagues there, the network confirmed Friday.

“Fox News Channel is canceling ‘The Specialists,’ and Eric Bolling and Fox have agreed to part ways amicably,” the network said in a statement.” We thank Eric for his ten years of service to our loyal viewers and wish him the best of luck.” A Huffington Post report had disclosed allegations that Bolling had sent lewd messages to colleagues via smartphone.

Bolling, a former commodities trader and best-selling author, had been a longtime co-host of “The Five,” and more recently helped launch a new late-afternoon show, “The Fox News Specialists.” He also anchors the Fox News program “Cashin’ In.” Fox News intends to keep Bolling’s co-hosts, Eboni Williams and Kat Timpf, as contributors. The show will be replaced at 5 p.m. eastern with an hour of news coverage for the foreseeable future, with rotating anchors holding down the slot.

Bolling had vowed to clear his name.
