O come now. You have to watch to at least laugh at the horrible people. I stop watching after these prelim episodes.

Yup. The first episodes before the real show kicks off are the best.

I don't enjoy watching failure, since I've had more than my own share of it over the years and I didn't particularly enjoy it when I was on the recieving end of the humor

The best part of this the thing most people dont see. There is a round before the one they air. General judges put through a select number to see these judges. They PURPOSEFULLY put through shitty ones to air on TV. Genius idea really/

This was a great season opener just for psycho girl. Tomorrow looks great for the guy that thinks he sounds like Brian McKnight.

Does anyone else think the "friends" that Mary girl talked about are actually the voices in her head?

It was actually Guilbaux, I think, if I heard her spell it correctly.

The last idol show I saw was Canadian Idol, which tends to show more real singers and less crappy ones, and thus this was asstastically boring for me. Like...how many singers did they show us? Like NONE?

Ugh.

It's midly entertaining watching bad singers. But I get the feeling a lot of them are doing it as a goof just to get some camera time or to pull a William Hung.

Also, if you're a black female or an overweight blackman you might as well not even bother. This is about casting more than anything else. They're not going to pick you if you resemble the previous year's winners.

Case in point, the black female boxer with a very good voice got kicked the curb while the boy band look-a-like with barely above average voice went through to Hollywood.
