Just realized my Midna figure is around scale with Amiibo(also works with Jakks Pacific Link)

That is why I went out and bought them all today. Figured they would not be around after March 20th.
Seeing as Smash Bowser is coming soon, I'm not too sure about that.
I cancelled my Smash Bowser pre order since I prefer the MP version, dont want 2, also wanted another amiibo with the red base because I'm getting Toad and if it was only him among the rest it would annoy me.
Don't want 2 versions of Mario, Peach, Yoshi and Luigi which is a shame because MP Luigi is much nicer than Smash version but that's what I get for being too impatient I guess

I actually prefer their Smash variants, they're a bit more detailed.

Yeah they are but its just something I like more about those. Kinda prefer the solid "bland" poses to previous figures' as well.
Now I kinda want a Link in a regular pose as well.
Marth is also in every store in Hamburg Germany. There is no Amiibo which is rare at all...
Probably since every figure won't need extra chunks of plastic to hold their pose up and they'd look great from every angle.

Yep. Me too. The SMB versions look like they should be a little cheaper. Like $10 or something. The denim isn't even textured. They do seem more traditional and have an "old school" vibe which is cool, I guess.

Bowser's size looks much better n the MP one than in the smash one. I always thought that the smash amiibo looked too small compared to the rest of the characters.

Hello fellow amiibros and amiigals, I have purchased the Disney Infinity Figure Display Cases as a test to see if our amiibo fit inside the display.
But first thing's first, I finally uploaded an avatar for myself and added the "amiibo" symbols, too (respect my MS Paint skills) and now I feel like I belong.
Now back to my review of sorts:
So here's the case in all its glory. Nothing inside yet.
However, when an amiibo is placed, its base doesn't particularly fit as it falls through this opening (Infinity's bases are larger and therefore fit like a glove)
But I found a bit of a workaround (a cut piece of promo credit card garbage)
And now my Captain fits without falling through and as for the plastic covering-
Fits on top and, if you don't mind the "Disney Infinity" logo on top, is ready for display on your desk or whatever.
A side note: Cptn. Falcon is one of the taller amiibo which is why I used him for this presentation. However, Pit, being the tallest, doesn't fit in this display at all.

Boom! That's me nabbed Villager then :-D My run of not paying more than £15 per figure is still going - paid ~£10 for everything but Marth, which cost £15 - but I suspect Rosalina/Shulk/Meta Knight (my only outstanding White Whales) may test that...

Yup, missed out on that chance. I'm going to hold tight until February/March, but if there's no sign of it for what I've paid for everything so far by then, I'll maybe grab one of the ones I've seen going for £20-30 just to fill the damn hole in my collection

I've bought a lot of the Nintendo figures that have released in Japan & the US thus far but I'm kicking myself for missing out on a few that have become stupidly pricey (like the D-Arts Charizard).
I'm psyched for some of the new Figma that have been announced though! Lucina, Young Link, & Zero Suit Samus are all in the works.
If anyone's interested, I've actually dedicated part of my new amiibo site to other Nintendo action figures & toys - D-Arts, Figma, Nendoroid, SH Figuarts, & the World of Nintendo line from Jakks Pacific.

Cool. I was considering starting a bigger collection of licensed Nintendo figures last year, but ultimately decided against it. With the prices on those premium, high-quality figures, it seemed like things could get out of hand really fast.

Bah! Still no Little Mac restocks.
I'd guess that any restocks will come in waves, probably related to the original wave release patterns - that is, restocks of Villager, WFT, Marth etc. first, followed by restocks of the Wave 2/3/etc. characters. If Nintendo are producing more to meet (at least partially) demand, it makes sense that they would be gauging things based on sales of the first wave released, and manufacturing/restocking using that data. Hopefully we see wider restocks and not just the Nintendo official shops, as it will make the whole process of collecting the ones you want - or a full range - much less hassle for everyone, and cut the scalpers out entirely.

Makes sense actually. I don't think any of wave 2 had restocks. Both Luigi and Diddy Kong have never been out of stock on the site and all the rest remain out of stock.
