Chill yo. Not everyone reads every single comment, especially over the last few days. Getting Amiibo-fied isn't about having a cool looking avatar, it's about amiibroship and repping the AmiiGAF community the right way.

I don't think so- I think sometimes individual ones occassionally pop up (like I think Toon Link was up at walmart for a short time earlier I think I saw someone say?), but for the most part, I think they're all closed.

Closing 133 stores and 18000 jobs lost. Sucks for those people out of work and one less place to hunt for Amiibos, not like their stock was great to begin with.

I'm so bummed! Damn target leaving Canada. How will we get our rosalinas now!? sad times. Even with all the hate I actually really liked them, found my Marth and villager amiibos there. They also had some decent video game sales. RIP Canadian target.

Based on that chart on the previous page, here's a text list showing what games each Amiibo does something special in.
I only listed Hyrule Warriors for the Amiibos that unlock special weapons and I only listed Mario Party 10 for the Amiibos that unlock special items and stages, since every Amiibo can do something minor in those two games, which isn't a unique characteristic. I did list compatibility with Super Smash Bros. because we now have one Amiibo that doesn't work with that game, Toad.
I also didn't count that One Piece game because I don't think it's leaving Japan.
Mario, Luigi, Peach
The short of it is that Link is the best value right now. Toon Link will join him when he comes out next month. Mario, Luigi and Peach will equal them in value once Mario Party 10 comes out in March.

Tru was a failure. They said they only had some pits that were preorders and nothing to put out in the floor. My previously cancelled and then reinstated captin falcon did arrive in the mail though. I already got a falcon from amazon so I'm willing to trade this one for a pit.

Can't wait for Wave 4, I'm going to be watching where I can get Ness like a HAWK. That one I wouldn't mind importing if he becomes rare, though.

My wife went to TRU this morning right before it opened, there about 5 cars waiting, they had 6 Captain Falcons...no Pit (And then just the regular commons that are just about everywhere)

Same. They got 6 Falcons in today, and had them hidden in the back 1 per customer. Scored my second Falcon to keep in the box. They got no Pits or L. Macs today.
Damn. So Rosalina really is coming out in mid January? Confused. Thought it was a Feb 1st release. Now I'm so paranoid.

No, only 4 of them were waiting for Amiibos.. the other car's occupants disappeared into another section of the store (while all of the others made a b line to the Amiibo display LOL)
I now don't even know when to try for a Rosalina. Like...will extra's be in stores in Jan? What day? I'm so confused. Thought she was Wave 3 and that supposedly they were all dropping Feb 1st. We need more info damnit.

I'm guessing this was already talked about, but dang, read about how Target is closing in Canada which basically means having to import Rosalina at this point until they figure out if they're just gonna have her be available everywhere else or have another retailer have her exclusively.
Stuff like this really makes me hope Wave 4 doesn't do this eventually.
