I know how you feel, man. Given my tight finances & how no one is hiring me, I can't be all willy-nilly with what I spend. I'm now budgeting what I spend, and it sucks.

If stocks are redirected to the US for Rosalina, maybe we'll be lucky enough that she will be more easily available there and we can start a shipping operation to Canada!

Saw this coming. How are we supposed to get Rosalina besides importing.
Well, I took the dive and pre-ordered Ness from Game.co.uk. I figure around $20 is more than worth it to save a hassle and secure peace of mind, especially since Ness is the only Wave 4 amiibo I want.
I have no pre-orders for Wave 3, however, so it's going to be an early morning on February 1st hunting for Mega Man, Toon Link and (ha) Shulk.

I've never really gone crazy when it comes to buying things. But this came out of nowhere, and now I'm near the poverty line. Hopefully I can get a job, any job, so I don't become homeless. I had stuff preordered that I'm going to need to cancel now. As well, I'll most likely be selling off alot of my old games to try and keep my head above water for a while longer.

Yeah, I put in an order for Ness and Lucina at nin-nin games. IMO it's worth it. If we really want Ness badly, better safe than sorry.

I know what it's like to suffer and struggle. Spent this past year coming close to death with my Cancer. My own family abandoned me. I know what it's like to be drowned in despair. But I also know, how much love and kindness from friends (even online friends) can help get you out of that dark place. I know that, even things like Amiibos (things that can make you happy), can be the catalyst to get you into a happier place overall.
So 100%, I will send you what you need in Feb. Don't worry. It's okay. I just want to help someone out, because I know what it's like.

I would like to contribute for a Villager for Spike as well. Azula, if you end up getting an extra Villager, please let me know.
I think I'm about to get screwed over on store exclusives. Only have a preorder for Shulk, so I've been trying to plan out how to get the other three on release day. Thankfully there is a Target, Best Buy, and Toys R Us on the same street not too far away from me. The problem is going to be getting all three since I imagine as soon as I pick up one, the others will be sold out...
What are the differences between the European and American Amiibos?

I've only been apart of Amiibogaf for a few days and it's already one of the most welcoming communities on GAF. I'm sure you'll be taken care of and gladly so.

That's happened to quite a few people now. I got my order in no problem a couple of weeks ago. Though Pit, CF, and Luigi were all delayed compared to the rest of the wave.
Exactly. This is the first time I've ever imported anything game-related. It feels kind of...neat, actually. So nice to know that I'll definitely have a lil' Ness, and he'll be making his away across the sea.

My offer still stands. I ordered a Villager in early Dec, before the prices went crazy. Over time I realized I only got him because I fell into "rare-madness". Since I'm sure you'd appreciate him more than I would, he's yours if you want him. Like I said, only caveat is he doesn't come with packaging.

Oh, I forgot to ask. So April 24th is the European release date for Wave 4? The only thing I can find is this apparent screencap from the Euro Nintendo Direct. Just want to write it down so I can mark my checkbook when game charges me for Ness.

Well, I've never really gone crazy with spending. It's just that a lot of my money had gone through paying the rent, savings, cable, helping my family with the house mortgage, and a little bit put aside for my own personal needs.

No webstore presence for Target in Canada. They just didn't seem to be wanting to succeed here.
Let me go check. But I imagine it would actually be more than Amazon. Japan import sites tend to be a little bit more expensive. Sadly, you are going to get tagged with $15 just for the VAT/tax + international shipping. You are basically paying retail, but then paying the other amount to get it across seas.
It sucks, I know. But it's better than scalpers on ebay.
EDIT: It's actually cheaper. Around $20-22. So about $8 off. At least, I'm making a guess. I don't have an order of just one. I only have one of two. It came up to $47. But one alone is $12. Shipping wasn't $10 (their Fed Ex one wasn't at least).
Well it looks like I got here an hour too late. Target employee told me they did have Little Mac's but someone came in no more than an hour ago and bought the remaining 3. The expression on my face must have told her what I was about to in words cause she instantly got so apologetic, lol.
It sucks cause I read that post from Spike in the parking lot on the way in and I knew if I found an extra that's who it would have gone to.

Getting gifts, isn't always something people are comfortable with. I understand that. But I know what it's like to suffer and struggle. And I know that, people on here being nice and kind to me, kept me going. And I know that, collecting Amiibos has made me happy.

I don't recall my shipping being that much. I had Fed Ex, it claims 3-5 days. It was like $8. Didn't use EMS though. I just did the math on my order, and it came out cheaper on Nin-nin them Amazon.de
THAT SAID, I've heard horror stories of Nin-nin being slow to ship. So maybe my cheap shipping will get me a month before they ship anything out. Wah wah wah.
Also people should know, Nin-nin requires a 10% re-stock fee, if you cancel. Even pre-order items. And their site is also very poor (it's hard to cancel, you have to message customer support). So I would not recommend them or anything. I only pre-ordered the Wave 3 exclusives as a back up, since I missed out on pre-orders. And also putt in pre-orders for Ness and Lucina just to be safe. But I won't use them for anything else.
So no new updates right? I heard newegg put up a page for Ness and the rest of the new Mario set.

Supposedly, a GS manager claims Monday will be pre-orders for Wave 4. But no concrete proof. Also, first time I've heard of Newegg posting the page. Did they actually take pre-orders? or did they just put up the page briefly with no pre-order button, and then took it down?

School starts again on Tuesday for me, guys. Not sure what my amiibo situation will be like. As mentioned earlier, my expenses will go: paying for school, the commute, gas, time with girlfriend, and all of that. My hunting for the rare amiibo will be extremely limited, unfortunately, but will try my best.
