Picked up Shulk and Roslina imports. The shipping was 15, but honestly way less of a premium than a scalper would have charged.

Its not mine but that's a BESTÅ 60*64*20 cabinet with a GLASSVIKEN door and INREDA shelves. That thing would look even better with some integrated lighting I think.

You need to get some LED lighting strips in there. What cabinet is that? And did it come with that many shelves?

Probably not for a bit as I can fit a total of about 50 comfortably. But I'm certain Nintendo will far exceed 50 amiibo so I will construct another. This should last for about a year, however, so no rush to make another.

If by some chance you do buy this set, I recommend the suspension rail as the door is far to heavy and will bring the whole display down. Plus hanging it on the wall looks amazing.
$120 (before taxes) with the IKEA Family Membership (membership's free)
My budget at the time was low so I couldn't get them, but I will soon. As for the shelves, they had to be bought separately as the 2 wooden shelves that came with the display were too thick and wouldn't allow for display of my amiibo. Also the glass make the whole thing look much more elegant.

No need to have them in a case when they're in package. IKEA sell some nice picture frame shelves that they fit nicely on. I have 2 of them in my son's room, but he's going to need more.

That's going to be a tough one. I guess it depends on how many you intend to display as they take up so much room vertically. But they don't take up much room depth wise. May want to look at custom building something.
Or just dust the tops of them once a week.

Were people in the states able to add more then one to their cart? In Canada, both at Best Buy and Futureshop, we could only add one in our cart.
Did not hear this! So there's a chance I can still get one once they put the cancelled orders back up! 😭😂
I think if the characters get a little more cozy, should be able to fit quite a few in there!

They're pretty common. I think the only place I haven't seen them was at Best Buy (but then again, my BB has a poor selection of just about everything).
She's probably the 2nd most common, 1st being Luigi. I see her every time I check my stores.

I wonder if there will be a ton of retailer discrepancies again. W2 for Target and Best Buy were anywhere from 1-3 weeks apart.

I have no idea where or how, but back at Christmas I was disappointed I couldn't get my brother Marth, his favorite character, for Christmas. My Grandma picked that information up, and not even knowing what an Amiibo was or who Marth was, hunted for awhile and low and behold for his birthday yesterday from her he got a Marth Amiibo.
Crazy. I don't know how she did it. She didn't even say it was expensive or anything (trust me, if she paid 50+ for it from a scalper I would have hear about it). It's a Japanese package, maybe that had to do with it, but still wow, I'm impressed at her shopping abilities.
I may have to call on her services for Ike and Dedede.

Yes there probably will be. Nintendo not giving us a proper release date is reflective of this. I doubt even these WalMart emailed dates are correct.
Get your hunting gear ready because the next Amiibo hunt is coming.
Feb 20 seems like a likely date, at least for Dedede and Meta Knight. They're usable in Rainbow Curse (which is out on Feb 20) and in Japan, the amiibos and game come out on the same day (Jan 22 I think)

As far as entertainment earth goes im waiting for an order I placed with them 2 years ago that hasnt been cancelled lol.
We've had a Gamestop site for ages. Don't think they have any actual stores though (unless they're in the North).
