I will be traveling in Chicago the morning of, and could use some recommendations on best Target for Rosalina hunting. Have a flight to catch and she's the only one I need, but we could say hello.
 
Anybody know Amazons (Europe?) return policy for an international order? I think I may be able to snag a rosalina day 1 but I think amazon will have already shipped the one I ordered from them and is rather pay $12 over $33.

Is it really that much better? spent days making the Google document and building up all the info over a week.

Edit: can it be used online? Like I can link it to people in the thread? It's also private? I'll PM you. I guess I'll run it too, but I need some time tonight to look into it. I'd be willing to create and run this and move over the Google doc. But I have some questions.

Do you think retailers are smart enough to stock extra Toad for the Captain Toad plus new character amiibo demand? Yes, preorder it.

No one knows. In EU/JP yes. Some GS people are saying Feb 1st. Some said 20th lol who knows anymore. It seems Feb 1st is def the day some (maybe all of them) go on sale Feb 1st. Just go on Feb 1st and we will see what is or isn't on sale.

I think some of the 6th and 20th delays are only for Wal Mart possibly.
 
A bit more info on Targets closing. One interesting note was that suppliers are no longer shipping anything to the stores. So unless Rosalina is sitting in storage at these stores, it doesn't look like she'll be sold through Target in Canada.

I haven't heard of that but theres a first time for everything, especially with Amiibos I feel.

I did preorder Pit from them no problem, just an unreliable date which obviously isn't their fault. My current Toon Link preorder is at amazon US which I had to do for free shipping on other things I wanted...so I hope it goes alright.
 
Anyone notice that amazon's amiibo page has changed a bit? They basically made room for more names/figures. Hope they go live tomorrow and I can get a Lucina ordered before the scalpers can get her.

edit: actually, I take that back, I just hadn't seen amazon's amiibo page on my main pc in a while so its still the same >_>

At this point, if you really want him, now is probably the time to bite before he gets more expensive unless you're still willing to hunt or hope for a reprint. He'll be going for much more soon likely.

Ah thanks. I was browsing the thread trying to catch up and saw some posts saying the 20th. I'll be hitting some places up (especially Target) on the first anyway but just wanted to make sure. Got a Shulk pre-ordered but as I said, I'll see if I can pick some more up for my friends and fellow Amiibros if I can.

I messaged you. But does this require people to make a Trello account to use it? One of the appeals of Google docs is that anyone with an email can access it. Most people already have a gmail account too.

I'm kind of wondering if the majority of the community would be willing to create a second account for this. If it's really easier to use, and better overall...and it's easy to access, I'd be willing to move everything over from our Google doc. Just unsure if it's something most would want to use over our community Google doc.
 
PSA: My gamestop HAS shulk in back I can pick up my order on the 1st! He showed it too me.

Mostly cause I told him I was gonna keep coming in and pestering him till he either told me they were in fact in store or show them too me.
Also confirmed that they will have skus for preorder of wave 4 next week positively

I had the first Shulk pre-order in at my local Gamestop, and they didn't have a date yet when I checked last week.

Maybe it's happening.

Maybe at last I can really feel it.

Well that confirms it. Thanks a lot. Fuck. So nervous about getting one. Can you ask him if they are getting any non-pre orders in for the 1st? Also I placed all of my wave 3 pre orders on GameStop.com but selected in store pick up. Do I print out my order and just show up to the store I selected? Will they have most of my stuff?

Lastly, are they getting all of Wave 3 on the 1st? Does he have all of them in the back?

Wondering if the 6th and 20th delays is for Wal Mart only.

Edit: I do know each store is different with regards to stock allocation. But if one store has all of Wave 3 ready for the 1st, that means that all of Wave 3 is technically out on the first.

This is MEGATON news to me. Shulk is probably my most wanted amiibo at the moment, and I missed out on pre-orders. I just hope there are extras come Feb. 1...
