So as of this morning, these are the release dates I have from Walmart based on my preorder emails:

Mega Man - Feb 20
Sheik - Feb 6
Ike - Feb 20
King Dedede - Feb 20
Toon Link - Feb 6
Sonic - Feb 13

Three different release dates!? WTF Nintendo!?

If I'm not mistaken, there was some talk of some sort of production issues/importing problems from China for a lot of Nintendo stuff (amiibo, and the New 3DS). That was the whole reason why Wave 2 ended up being a fiasco and why New 3DS regular isn't coming over to US (yet).

I dunno, maybe I was mistaken or something. But perhaps this is the reason why again.

I have to say, the uncertainty of the shipping dates is stressing me out from a financial standpoint. Alot of these places wait to charge until the product is shipped, so I need to make sure I have enough money in my account at that point. Actually, that's probably a sign that I don't have enough money to continue on collecting these things.

Toys R Us finally shipped my Falcon and Pit last week totally free. They had sent that letter saying that I would receive a temporary charge, so I put aside $30 (that I really could have used) for when they shipped. They never charged me at all, though! I suppose I should be grateful, but the inconvenience and uncertainty sure takes away some of the glory.

Still no news regarding wave 4 pre-orders? I'll keep my eyes peeled and if I see it go up. I'll order an extra Lucina for someone on the thread just incase.

So every Friday in February there'll be different amiibo coming out? And some are coming on the 1st?

Dedede makes sense for the 20th since that will coincide with Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. Meta Knight will probably be the 20th too, then. And they probably want some new amiibo coming on the 13th so they can up sell them to customers buying new 3DS.

So, is it possible game relevant amiibos might get increased stock and availability? I'm thinking of how they're reprinting Marth amiibos, and hoping the rest of the FE characters are made more available, or Dedede/Metaknight too.

Side question, what are the chances the Marth reprint is higher quality? It was a pretty big point of criticism when it first released.

Nowinstock.net says that Amazon had Little Mac up for about 8 minutes earlier this morning. Any truth to this? Did anyone get one!?

It does seem that amiibos are starting to trickle in every now and then. I've seen Falcon in a few spots. Saw one Pit. I even saw a WFT about three weeks ago. I thought Little Mac was long gone.

Until those things are in your hand, trust me, just keep both preorders. If they do both come in, you can trade it like you said, or just return it to the store and make someone's day when it's put back on the shelf.

Even if we aren't able to find the reprint in stores, the new stock will probably bring down the price on eBay etc. The more people selling one thing, the lower the price will go.
