ThisBeJason sent me his extra Rosalina. Since he's in North Cali (and I'm South), I should get it by tomorrow. Meaning, Rosalina will be in my display case tomorrow! I will bust out my DSLR camera this time, and take some really nice pics of the display case, and in particular Rosalina's amiibo.

I can't thank ThisBeJason enough. I honestly didn't want anyone to give me Rosalina. I don't like people to gift me things. I know, I'm hypocritical. I like to give things away, but am not good at accepting. Especially because I am well off, I don't ever like anyone else to have to spend a cent on me. It's why I'll never accept payment or shipping when I give away free Amiibos on here to people that need them.

But man, Rosalina was always the ONE Amiibo I wanted more then any of them. Purely because, she's my favorite character. So when I got into this, it got of broke my heart to know I missed out on her pre-orders, and that she was a Target only exclusive. I spent a week + glued to my computer, trying to find ways to get her. So I was really really bummed when I missed out several times, and also when I made some poor choices (pre-ordering on the wrong site).

ThisBeJason wants the US version of Rosalina, so if I'm able to score her on the 1st, he gets mine. Since I'll have his extra in my display case, which means I don't need Rosalina anymore. So any Rosalina's i get on the 1st will be 100% for the community. I will give them away free. I also will get 1-2 extra of each Wave 3 I see, and will also give them away free on here. I'll look on the google doc and see who needs them (which users weren't able to secure them at their stores).

I am beyond happy. I don't think a gift has ever meant more to me than this one. I was shaking when he told me he was sending it. I'm still in shock tbh that he sent it. I know it's just a $12 toy, but at least to me, it means more to me then that. Given all the shit I'm going through right now emotionally, it means a lot to me.

I can't speak to Target specifically, but I'm sure they had a set amount to pre-sell and they are long gone. I would imagine they are similar to other retailers regarding shipments, but days may vary. I had an in-depth conversation with a Toys-R-Us employee in my area and he explained that shipments only arrive on Wednesdays and Fridays. They get those shipments on the floor usually by the time they open, but may still have some stuff in the back so always ask. This was helpful because now I know I can call on Wednesdays and Fridays to check. Target must have some sort of schedule, if you can find out you can strategically plan when to go as opposed to stopping every day.

Think I'll go to Toys-R-Us tomorrow at lunch for the hell of it.

Last week at our Gamestop we'd asked about Pit in the area and the supervisor had called every local Gamestop just to see if they were getting any shipments in. He really dug into the other stores. Couldn't find anything.

We'd forgotten about it and went in today for something else. A slightly crazed looking supervisor comes up and tells us he has spent the last week calling every Gamestop in America apparently, found a single unreserved Pit in San Jose, CA (we're in Pennsylvania), and badgered that store into sending it here air mail. And we walked out with a mint Pit.

I spent all my money this month on Amiibos, a second 4K TV, and buying my tickets + reserving places for my trip to Japan with my GF in Feb (we bumped it to mid Feb). No I can tell you 100% they are EU. The bottom are of the boxes are a dead give away. I have both EU and US boxes and the bottom of the US has almost nothing on it, EU has a ton on it.
