None lol. I've got an inside source at both Bestbuy and Target. They've held any Amiibo I've needed. No pre-orders needed. Obviously I did have to pre-order Lucario and Shulk but I did that when the pre-orders went live. Getting these things has been stress-free but extremely expensive.

Does anyone here have a Meta Knight BB online order for ship-to-home? I'm curious what your order status says, since I'm not sure if there's an issue with mine (I had it changed from in-store pickup).

I do. No updates from them or anything. If I log in to check the order status, it still shows the generic release date of 12/31/2015.

They usually call and leave an automated message the day it comes in. The employees at mine are always cool when i check to see if they're in the shipment as well, so i don't think it hurts, but they're usually good about calling the actual day it comes in.

Yeah, a text and sometimes a phone call. The call is random, sometimes they will, usually they won't.

I went to Gamestop and paid mine off the other day and asked if I would get a call. They basically said... "maybe". Ha.

Since it's on the way home from work, I'm just going to stop in every day starting February 1st until I have all 8 of them.

All I'm saying is that the dates only changed once for wave 2 and this lead to a lot of stock getting put on shelves that the system couldn't actually sell because they adjusted the release way later than they should have.

We can still wish aimlessly for some cool platinum swag this year. I still kick myself when recalling that 2011 was the only year I did not make Platinum and this was the reward. Best platinum reward EVA!

BTW, is this like the ONLY pose Bowser can pull off? I've probably seen 4 other figures with this same pose.

Ah I didn't know that about BB. This is my first time buying Amiibos at the beginning of a Wave launch. So BB has a history of having later dates than others. Wal Mart has a history of inconsistent dates.

Are GS/Target/TRU usually in time? Or does the split/scattered release dates common for each store?

Basically, are the odds low of one store getting everything and selling on the 1st? Is that just not likely?

Euro has English all over it too. The obvious differences is US has "6+" at the top right and Euro has "No. # CHARACTER NAME" at the top right.

I've got some history with GS and Target and they've always been on time with me. Got Pit & Falcon on time from GS and Zelda & Yoshi on time from Target.

I kind of threw all my eggs into the GS basket for wave 3 so hopefully I should see those on time again.

Well BB knew it wasn't getting wave 2b along with wave 2a so it set the release date way later and they stuck with it. There were a lot of stories here about how people did see wave 2b a little early in stores but the date in the system wouldn't allow them to buy. All other retailers just released them as they got them. There was an internal memo from GS about releasing them whenever the stores get them since they are not officially street dated.

I'm not saying it can't change, but with less than two weeks out, it's a pretty good lead. At least, for the ones with the adjusted dates so far.

Newegg has the MarioParty Wii U bundle with Mario up for preorder.
It also has all the exclusives listed as auto notify including Rosalina, Shulk, Meta-Knight, and Lucario... I don't think thats new but I was pretty sure the MarioParty bundle said notify before?

My Amazon.de order has a release date of 2/23/15. It should (hopefully) ship then.

Best Buy is updating all of my wave 3 preorders for the release date of 2/1. Not sure if anyone else has reported this yet, but it looks like Best Buy is planning for their wave 3 release on the 1st.
