Notification from Amazon UK that my Rosalina order (shifted to them from Amazon.de when she popped up briefly for preorder) has shipped. So, that's Bowser, Toon Link, Sheik, Ike, Rosalina and Lucario all on their way, but Gamestop haven't shipped King Dedede yet. Still within my £10 + 50% max. spend too (it's like a game itself!)

Scalpers are using the same auto notifications and will jump on new stock the second they go up.

Those who didn't pre-order Shulk in NA are gon be fucked. NoA keeps making shitty deals and sectioning off Amiibos to terrible corporations for exclusivity. Now we can be fucked together instead of being fucked alone....wait a minute
Going to be insanely difficult getting Shulk feb 1st So we have to take some solace. Solidarity between those that are SOL is something.

Sell those 2 extra shulks on EBay in a month. Should pay off all of those
i could sell 2 Shulks and 2 Meta Knights and possibly an Ike and buy off the remaining Wave 1 AND a foreign Villager

Is there not a contact for the UK shop somewhere online? Might be worth emailing/tweeting/whatever to see if there is a date set for adding the new waves.
You don't know how jealous I am that you got three Shulk pre-orders. I'd kill for just one pre-order hah. I can't believe they did pre orders back in NOV. I never had a chance.

He's not. He's slipping into rare territory. Although he randomly was on Wal Mart last week. And randomly on Amazon the other day. Usually only stays up for a couple min before selling out.

Nah I didn't mean it that way. Just jelly. Now that I'm collecting I can actually get in on pre-orders and have an actual shot at some of these BS exclusives.
I'm not collecting for value or rarity. So I could care less about that. Which is why I only grab one and am then done. Any I grab after that is just extras I give out to fellow GAF members that need help.
If you are looking at making money, save all 3 of those shulks. You can't predict which ones will be rare like Villager. But I think Shulk has a high chance.
I was just saying how Jelly I am of anyone that got pre-orders in.

Why? You didn't do anything wrong. Nintendos fault for under supplying and making terrible exclusive deals. You shouldn't feel guilty at all.
Was just giving advice. If you want to make money, prob should hang on to all extras and wait and see what becomes rare. I don't care about money or rarity so I only go for one for my display.
Your GF is right to not give up extras if you are collecting for rarity or trying to make money.
Cool, thank you for the head's up, man. I missed out on pre-ordering Meta Knight, so I'm hoping that date is official across the board, so I can get him afterwork next Thursday. (Which reminds me, I got a job, though a temporary one, doing Storyboard Revisions for Slap Happy Cartoons. Yay!)

She is the financial decision maker of our relationship, she just works budgets around my impulses. God I love her so much.
No one is really a decision maker per se in my relationship. It's more so we both consult the other. In terms of budget, I guess we kind of co-manage. My GF is more like me though and likes to help out others. So she doesn't care about money or the rarity aspect so much. When we first started collecting I asked her if she wanted her own display. But she just wanted to share it.
On Feb 1st she's going to split up and hit up different stores to get extras for other people on here. So it's nice that we both have the same views and perspectives.
That said, I'm also really well off. So it's probably easier to be more relaxed on financials when you make a lot. But she also doesn't like to buy a lot, so she's kind of reserved that way heh.
Different strokes and all that. But yeah if you are trying to make money, best advice is to hold on to every extra and wait 2 months and see what the second hand market is like.

My third and last option is buying her at the local Mediamarkt but I just heard that they're almost out of Rosalina and Lucario already. I won't be able to go there until the weekend because of exams :/.
