Sorry, wrong wording. It seems it's "estimated availability." I'd assume that means they receive the stock but it goes up for sales at those times. Get your amiibos each week!

Edit: It seems they took down the Feb 1st date. Going to go with the split dates as the release dates for now. What a pain...
 
Gamestop just took away the Feb 1st date and it now says "Currently unavailable online."

I'm really miffed about the separate dates though. I understand that Wave 2 was the same but... WHY PUT ALL THOSE TOGETHER ON THE 13th!?! New 3DS is already gonna hurt my wallet....

I preordered all of my wave 3s except Rosalina... because I sleep at night.

Really hoping Target has some sort of stock that morning.
 
Now that I think about it, the 20th would make more sense for Dedede & Metaknight to coincide with Kirby & Rainbow Curse. Heck, I think in Japan, they're released on the same day as the game.

Nintendo really needs to make a statement about Wave 3 because this has been the most confusing wave yet.
 
It would just be really awesome going forward if these things had concrete release dates and I wouldn't have to worry about my preorders being sold or missing out on ones I don't preorder because there is no way to know exactly when these things are coming. What the fuck is Nintendo doing with these things

Oh boy. I hope you don't regret that choice. I paid 35 for Marth after he got canceled and never looked back.

I hear that. I had so much trouble with preorders. Marth never showed up at the store, but they marked it as ready for pickup so they cancelled it. Little Mac arrived broken. Link was left in a puddle by the postman. Lucario got cancelled and reinstated a few times.

Absolute nuts.

Also curious what the Super Mario line will do with Smash? I hope free unlockables like Amiibo do in Hyrule Warriors.

He'll probably be the easiest of Wave 3 to find, but I'm sure since he's a Mario character & getting a 2nd version made, he'll also be one of the most "useful" characters.

I think they are releasing in March. I hope pre-orders pop-up in Feb. I am getting Luigi and Bowser.
 
The Smash and Mario versions of the amiibos do the same thing. You can either use them in smash to train up or use them in Mario party. Same chip, different figure.

Just remember you can only store one game that writes memory onto an amiibo at a time. So if you have SSB data saved on your amiibo and want to use it on Mario Party 10, you'll lose your SSB progress.

Yup, kind of depressing. I was afraid they were going to do that.

I knew from the beginning that Nintendo was going to do more than Smash. I was kind of hoping they wouldn't release doubles.

I already made the decision I'm only doing Smash. I may also do any non duplicates like Toad.

Luckily I haven't really cared for the Mario Party series since they made that weird turn in 9 where everybody moves together.

Fun and hilarious twist: It looks like Amiibos unlock the classic mode in Mario Party 10 where each player moves separately (though it's not confirmed).

That is absolutely what it looks like. And if they release a Waluigi amiibo, I'll bite. Otherwise it's a solid pass.

I'm already expecting to drop over $500 total on the Smash line, I gotta draw the line somewhere, right?

Yeah, but it also looks like a really gimped version of Classic Mode, I'm not even going to bother buying the game unless it gets some really amazing reviews somehow. I found Mario Party 9 to be really bad, and this looks like more of that.

As do I, and what a good way to describe this one. It almost seems like he's trying to be scary, but you can totally tell there's no real threat :D I prefer this version too. Hope quality's as good as the Smash version.

Why does it seem like no one has Dedede yet? Are there impressions of how he turned out? Seems like he'd be in the same boat as Bowser in terms of quality

I've seen a couple stray photos of him, but next to nothing here. Assuming he releases with it, that puts him on the 20th. But people already have a few that were supposed to be the 20th

Yeah they did a great job on the packaging this time!

If the Rosalina is still on offer I would love to buy it from you :)

Edit: Looks like i'm about third in line for the Rosalina anyway, oh well :/ Fingers crossed I can pick one up in Argos tomorrow!
