Hahaha! Amazing.

There's a Toys R Us near me that's tucked out of the way from most other major retailers in my area so I'm gonna stop by there tomorrow to see if I can snag any wave 3's or rare Wave 1/2's. If I see any extra Captain Falcon/Marth I'll grab one for somebody in here.
 
Annapolis TRU was helpful, said they expected them today, but got nothing.
Did get a 2 cent Ryse though. Said he might have them tomorrow.

Nothing at the Fullerton or Buena Park TRU.

I hate this area, there was 10 people at the first store. Half of them resellers.
 
I'm currently debating going for a full collection.

As of now the only ones I've skipped are Mario, Luigi, Peach, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Villager and Wii Fit Trainer, plus pre-orders for Bowser, Rosalina, Toon Link, Lucario, Sonic and Mega Man.

The only ones I'd be worried about are Villager and Wii Fit Trainer which are both still in stock at amazon.de, so I'm tempted to grab them. Someone talk me out of it D:
 
Is it just TRUs that have the Wave 3s already? No Gamestops?

I might check out my GS later but the closest TRU is over an hour away so meh.

Actually, I have every non-exclusive wave 3 pre-ordered except for Toon Link lol, so not sure why I care that much. Just seeing the pictures of new amiibos makes me feel like I should jump up and go looking for them. It's a sickness

Yeah, but I got it about 10 minutes ago, so maybe it just hasn't been updated?

Entertainment Earth now lists Little Mac as "Pre-Sold Out". I'm hoping this is a good sign for those of us who actually preordered through them, since it indicates that they're still updating/keeping track of their expected orders.

EDIT: Actually, it looks like almost all of their amiibo listings now say Pre-Sold Out. Not sure anymore if it's a good sign or just nothing...
 
I haven't read this thread in a few days but now I see everyone has found out Toys R Us has some of Wave 3. I just happened to be at TRU today in Sunnyvale and saw only Bowser. Kind of dumb luck I went right when they broke street date and before I found out in this thread.

I just caught up with last 5-6 pages. I'm shocked with how people reacted to Azula's posts. If you don't like it then just ignore him or block him instead of trying to hurt his feeling. I'm pretty sure that his feeling is going to get hurt with some of your messages.

I'm disappointed with some of your reactions, and I think some of you could have handle it better, and be nice to people.
 
I paid 264 euro total for all 24 that are out now. First 12 10 euro each, other 12 12 euro each for now. So it is not so bad if I can keep up with this. :p

If I would have bought from certain retailers, it could have been 360 euro. So I saved 96 euro for now.
 
Still on track for a complete collection, although I still haven't secured a Rosalina (fingers crossed) and I don't have preorders for EU wave 4. What a bumpy ride it is, though...

I wasn't even interested in a complete collection at the beginning, but seeing how I wanted more than half of them, I don't want to have regrets later (which could cost me a LOT). And hunting them was fun, at least at the beginning (it's becoming harder with randomized release dates)

I agree (especially since Marth isn't even so rare here, and I've seen Falcon, Pit, WFT among others just today, and dozen of Fox... but I've only seen a single Kirby since Amiibo launch!)

Even more than countries, I think it's on a per-town basis. There's not a lot of logic behind distribution.

I would be surprised if Sheik is rare in the US, though. It isn't even an exclusive, I think?

Called the TRU in Hurst, TX. They do have them, but they can't put them out until 2/1.

I didn't know there were a good amount of Amiibo collectors in TX
 
Possible good news, fellow Rosalina hunters!

Amiibo Inquirer has a flyer scan for Target and Rosalina is featured on it! No word of limited or anything, so it looks like a good sign :)

Date might still be feb 1 but who knows at this point.

I'm going full collection but not full collection at launch. I've only bought one rare at full price so far (Falcon) and I don't intend to buy any non-rares at full price. I honestly think that if people take their time with this, they could get just about every one of them for at least only $9 an Amiibo.

Let me know when NA villagers, WFT, and Little Macs are $9
 
I'm focused on buying the characters I personally like. The problem for a lot of people is that not everyone's top Nintendo character is limited to Mario, Peach, Link, and Pikachu.

If you want something besides like, any of the 8 commons out of 50 characters, Nintendo is not making it easy or enjoyable.
