Is this a worldwide situation? I'm in the UK and I was on the fence about Pikmin 3 for a long time having never played one in the series but then Nintendo <finally> released a demo and it had me completely hooked. I refuse to pay their extortionate prices on the eshop so since the demo I've been on the hunt to try and find a copy.

On-topic, managed the get Villager, Zelda and Fox from Nintendo's UK online story, ordered yesterday and arrived this morning, excellent service! Glad I acted when I did as Villager and Zelda are sold out again there.

I'm in the US and I know its out of print here, not sure about UK/EU but if you cant find one just walking into a store that makes me think its a larger issue.

I have a feeling, when we reflect on 2015 in a few months, a lot of us are going to have negative feelings towards Nintendo (particularly NoA). It really is frustrating that certain amiibo are so difficult to find here when they're so easy every where else.

I am not out of the game, as I bought two new amiibo yesterday but I can't be bothered with NoA's lack of foresight.

Nintendo continues to be out of touch with the market.

Just got an email from TRU confirming that my in-store Lucario preorder will be available to pick up on 1/30- this is vaguely promising! Has TRU done this for other preorders previously? This is the only one I preordered from them, and I hope they mean it when they say it'll be held for 7 days... amiibo hunting has given me severe trust issues.

Actually the bent sword thing is just a large % defect from what Ive seen, the older style one I bought and am keeping has a perfectly straight sword as did the new one (whos cape emblem was badly smeared that I sold)

I spent three hours in the city today, taking four busses and two trains, just to hunt down some Amiibo. I hit up TRU, Target, and GameSpot and...

came home empty-handed ;_;

My TRU did have four Bowsers, but that was my first stop on my route and I didn't want to carry a bag into Target and GameStop and have to check it at the counter. Everything else was just typical Mario/Link/Pikachu/Kirby sort of stuff.

Anyway, I'm sure Bowser will be super common, so I'm not worried about it. I'm really gunning for Toon Link, Rosalina, and Sheik in Wave 3.

God, I wish there would just be one solid release date for the whole wave. I'm gonna go through this whole bullshit trek possibly three more weeks in a row. Pathetic.

I've noticed that for most of the amiibo with human faces, there's a big variety for where the eyes are printed on. The bad Marths have them printed low so that you see more of his brows. It's one of the main reasons I like to pick them out in person.

I want the smash one. He's my main and I passed on the figure when I had a chance because I'm dumb. I fear that if they make acu, it will get its own amiibo line instead of giving me another chance to buy the smash one like with marth

Perhaps we can have a villager cameo in splatoon or something to justify it.
