Darn it, my go-to store is asking a downpayment for the Ness-Robin-Toad waves as of today. Of course I can't go today since I have to work. They better have some preorders left tomorrow

Managed to get a Lucario, a Meta Knight and a Dedede today (all online, overseas). Now only Rosalina is left.

At least today wasn't fully a bust. My friend came back from Japan and finally gave me Wii Fit Trainer and Marth. Now I'm just missing Villager and Pit. :<

44?! Dayum that's a lotta Rosalinas. I don't think I'll have a problem picking one up at my Target.
The hard part is going to be resisting if they have the rest of Wave 3 there, given that I have most of them pre-ordered at my Gamestop for whenever they arrive, and Sheik pre-ordered at Amazon who will probably ship in April or something ;_;
I think that shelf is begging for some unprotected amiibo.

I did the same thing when cleaning recently. My Mac got hit over and toward the floor and I remmeber actually saying out loud "Mac! NO!" with some sort of horrified facecrack expression you'd see in an anime.
My husband was ok in the end too though
I'm waiting till I can get some kind of enclosed shelf to put them in to unbox them. My room gets dusty pretty quick.

Pretty good I think, the overall quality of the waves seems to be increasing except for random blemishes and such.

Just got off the phone with my local shop.
Ordered all of WAVE 4 (April Smash) ones + Mario Collection (March ones) over the phone because the website was acting up.
And he said I was the first with my orders in that location so I'm 99.99% sure I'm getting them all

[edit] I guess that is wave 4 right? got these stupid weird in part release waves are so confusing.............
Just got off the phone with my local shop.

Here in the US, I'm wondering what the 13th is gonna look like in stores considering a lot are supposed to have the second half of wave 3 hit the shelves and then you got the N3DS's coming out with the possibility of the MM one being released to 1st come 1st serve (at least that's what I'm getting since a lot of pre-orders are getting canceled and I'm not even sure if stores other than BBY, Target, GameStop and Frys had pre-orders up.)
I would hope the reprint will be better. The difference in quality between these waves has been pretty significant imo. I've had some people tell me that my Marth was considered a "good" one. Or at least not as derpy as a lot of them have been.
Especially when I look at just the 3 I have from wave 3 right now; Bowser, Lucario, and Shiek all look really nice. If they actually take the initiate to upgrade the quality, it should be easy. Yet again, it may just be a mass order on the existing design.

So yesterday I called the toys r us (Spain here) that hadnt received yet the january amiibos. She said that a truck was coming that night with new supplies of somethign, BUT she didnt know what it was going to be. That I tried my luck and called them tomorrow (so today).
I call this morning, and voila, here they came... without Rosalina.
The thing is I bought yesterday Rosalina and Toon Link from ebay. They have Toon Link.
Ive decided to go, get my Toon Link preorder, and the sell the one I bought in ebay for the same price I got it (19,99 euros, so i dont loose money, not trying to scalp here).
The funny thing is, that while having me waiting in the phone this morning, seems that the lines got mixed and I started to talk with a guy, that was also waiting, that was calling also for amiibos lol
We had a nice chat and then decided to cut the call and call again. The woman at the toys r us, when I called her the second time, said the lines where blocked but they didnt know why, and I told her was having a chat with another guy, she laughed her ass off, and said all this amiibo craziness was strange.
It was a funny and nice moment in all this shitty amiibo hunting ive had.

Highly, HIGHLY, unlikely but just something I thought was a bit comical
Shulk released Friday in Canada in limited quantities, has yet to be released Stateside I think the date is the 13th.
Lucario released Stateside yesterday but was very limited. Canada's shipment was delayed and might be here on February 6th.
Meta Knight hasn't been released, no firm date but some people are seeing the 28th.
Rosalina releases Stateside on Sunday but I've seen a few lucky souls got her Friday somehow. She is no longer an exclusive in Canada because of the Target situation and will now be split up and available at all retailers. Only one the I know of that has put preorders up for her is Amazon. Ca which sold out in like an hour.

In the EU (well, the UK at least), Rosalina and Lucario are out in the wild, waiting for Shulk and MK. Well, out in the wild still means good luck finding in shops.
All of wave 3 has been released in Australia and New Zealand.
