In all our frustration sometimes it is nice to remember why we do this. I opened my NES Remix today (had it since launch) and the disc art automatically put a smile on my face.

I am pissed. Had a Little Mac pre-ordered through Gamestop, couldn't pick it up in the store for some weird reason, had to ship it to home. It was suppose to be here yesterday, and it still didn't come today. What makes it worse is that it's a Christmas gift for someone I won't get to see this next week. I was going to give it to him today. It's even more frustrating because it was shipped by UPS, but at some point was handed off to USPS (I'm not sure why, I did a Zelda amiibo GS order the same way, and it was delivered via UPS). All the info I can get is that it was scanned in and put as in transit to my location. Really hoping it's not lost in the mail. Really disappointed, thought maybe I had managed to skip any amiibo woes, but I guess not.
As far as I can tell, it's not a canceled order or anything, it was on its way and hopefully still is. I wouldn't even be that annoyed as long as I got the damn thing, but it being a gift I actually needed before Christmas is really irritating. If it doesn't arrive by Monday, I'm going to have to go to UPS or USPS customer service and figure out what the serious fuck.

I doubt there's any other company out there that could get me to hunt around town at multiple stores like Nintendo. They're in my bones.

If any IL or southern WI gaffers need a Cap. Falcon, I just left the McHenry, IL Target. They still have three available in a cart behind the electronics counter. I used the dcpi number supplied in this thread to get them to find them in the back. I asked the clerk to keep them behind the counter, to help with scalpers. Good luck, hopefully they go to gaffers in need!

Hi guys, im from Panama Central America. Here in my country we still havent received wave 2, only wave 1 day one since we have nintendo latin america here. Amiibos cost $19.95 here normal price. We received all wave 1 but Villager is long gone, stores have truckloads of Mario,Samus,Fox Link DK,Pikachu and Kirby, a couple of Marth's here and there and the WFT is more common, it was something like for every 20 mario, 3 marths, 3 villagers and 3 WFT so at this point not a lot of stores have them

They got burned by massive scalper pre-orders for Wii U hardware. Makes sense that they would be conservative in producing these.
Its a mix of scalpers and Nintendo not producing a lot.
It wasn't online. I pre-ordered in the store, but they set it to ship to home. For some reason that I didn't understand (and neither did the employees for that matter) I could not pre-order to ship to the store. Well, I guess it was technically online and all, since they did it via their website in store, but still.
Wii fit trainer, Marth and Villager are gone.

I was originally going to get one Amiibo per wave, Samus for Wave 1, Little Mac for Wave 2, Mega Man in Wave 3.
Now I have Samus and Kirby opened, with WFT, Villager, Little Mac, and Luigi sitting in their boxes. And I'm tempted to buy Fox and any of the other Wave 2s I find. I definitely want to pick up Pikachu and Mario just because I like their designs. I don't have the money for this! Damn you Nintendo!

Yeah Best Buy I don't think understands that some people collect these things. Even if someone didn't its still sad they have to stick that giant ass sticker on them. Same thing irks me at Gamestop.
Today I found a few Foxes in the wild and nabbed one for a friend. I haven't seen any of the Wave 2 guys besides Zelda, so hopefully I'll come across them soon.
EDIT: after the annoyance of calling around, i wanted to track the figures on target's website to see what stores might have them in stock. Looks like all of Wave 2 isn't appearing. Is there some link anyone has to look for them? Or where are people searching?

Funny story about scalping.
I'll admit it. I got freaked out and preordered a 50 dollar Lucario from TRU from a scalper on Ebay. I felt bad about it especially after walking into TRU yesterday myself and preordering another for face value.
I had already paid for the ebay scalper Lucario so I figured I just had to eat the cost until today. Get an email from the scalper saying HIS TRU preorder was cancelled, so he gave me an automatic refund without having to say a word....So now I have what I need and didn't have to overpay anything!! Pretty cool..
Got Captain Falcon TRU preorder yesterday. I'm having a good start to this weekend when it comes to Amiibos.

From what I was told, I don't think so. Apparently they were also cancelled because of short supply.
