Was able to hit up Toys R Us before they closed for their 2/$22 deal. Grab a Samus and a Luigi. They had No Foxes (Was hoping to grab one, I'm sure they will come out again in 6 months top, if not sooner, and a decent change I could just stumble on one), out of Little Macs and Diddys. The Luigi I got was the last one. They had a ton of Zeldas though, and a good number of Samuses. Everything else was pretty normal, good stock levels on all the stuff.

They had preorder slips out for Wave 3, and I was able to just preorder a Lucario in store.
 
I wonder if my local Toys R Us is gonna have Falcon and Pit tomorrow. Oh well, I have them on order from Best Buy (ship to home). I have to drop my car to the mechanic in the morning so I don't think I'll be able to check TRU until after 3:30pm... By that time the scalpers could have came. LOL. Who even knows if they are going to have them hahaha.
 
Scored tonight picking up Little Mac from Best Buy. I preordered him during the B2G1 glitch and for the email telling me my preorder would be ready for pick up on the 19th. I checked my status cuz of people talking about getting cancelled and the status said ready for pickup. Since I had to pick up Zelda and Diddy Kong, I decided too try my luck. When I got there Little Mac wasn't with the others so the girl there tried to find it and checked in the back for awhile but couldn't find it. She said her manager was looking for it.

While looking on the track she notced three Amiibos which was Zelda, Diddy and Little Mac but they were reserved for someone else. At that point I asked what if they can't find mine. She said they would look at another store or have to cancel it. At that point I pointed out how they were hard to find and started to complain about listing it was ready but it was nowhere to be found. I was starting to panic inside thinking about people getting their preorders cancelled. She talked to her manager who now came up and he told her to just give me the one that was down there since I was here and I had a confirmed order.

I lucked out. It was a bit of a scary moment there. I hope I didn't screw a fellow GAF member.
 
For Australians - JB HiFi had Wave 3 up on their website 2 hours ago.

They are all gone now.

I was able to order instore a couple of hours ago though so you might still find some luck in pre-ordering that way.

Ugh, I can't go until tomorrow but for some reason I feel like I'm going to get screwed over this way. Luckily I scored another Little Mac at Target last week but I won't be able to do this in the future.
 
I`m debating if its worth it to go hunting tomorrow early morning, I guess I´ll just wake up early and see how EastGAF is doing and proceed from there, need me some Falcon action.
 
My Little Mac arrived with the packaging dented & bent from TRU. Fucking bubble mailers!

I wasn't planning on opening it... Do you think it'll be worth it to resell online and hunt another down?
 
Since Best Buy hasn't yet fulfilled my Little Mac order, I think I might go on a hunt for one tomorrow. One of the benefits of living in rural Alabama is that retailers dont tend to sell out of hot items like this too quickly.

Where in Alabama? I'm going to be driving from Birmingham to Thomasville and back, might hit the WalMart in Thomasville and Brent on the way back.
 
So from what I've been reading it seems like Target is actually the best place to go hunting for wild falcons. Now do I go into work late to check my targets first? Maybe I'll use some repels to ward off scalpers and bring a few extra master balls...

I live about 40 minutes southeast of Huntsville. I'll make my way towards Huntsville hitting every target, Walmart, best buy, and GameStop along the way. I'm also taking a road trip down to Baldwin County on Monday, so if I haven't found one by then, I can hit plenty of places on my way down I-65.
 
I'm in California, checked all the local best buys, targets and Toys R us today. Didn't find anyone from wave 2 except Zelda. I was very lucky to grab a little mac and diddy the other day. I also preordered Mega Man, Shulk and Sonic today at my local gamestop.

I'm really wondering if I should try Target tomorrow for Pit and Falcon. My Toys R Us told me the nintendo rep came this morning and told her monday would be the day to call.
 
okay this is weird as hell. Supposedly a supervisor from best buy knew about my Pre order for little mac. I'm not sure if it's a customer or someone from best buy. They wanted to buy my little macs even though I had them pre order. I declined them and they kept asking if the item was paid for online. They wanted me to verify my last 4 digit of the card, but I told them I will verify with them in store. Even if it was a supervisor there shoudnl't be a reason to verify my information over the phone. WTF. I'm calling the bestbuy store as we speak to find out what's going on. Sounds like someone trying to pull my leg.

Whenever I have to verify over phone it's always Name/Phone/Email, we never ask for card unless we're assisting with a purchase. That's definitely fishy, I'd look into it for sure.

In other news, I went ahead and ordered Rosalina from amazon.fr, I can't be staying up into the wee hours of the morning waiting for pre-orders to open, I have to get up for work at 5.

My Pit orders just got cancelled at TRU, too. Hopefully their site starts working again so I can at least order another amiibo...
 
Toys R Us canceled my Villager, but I just assumed it was cuz it was backordered and they weren't getting anymore. Sounds like it may be a part of this instead.
