Amiibo Thread 3 | Where release dates are made up and preorders don't matter!

Went to Toys R Us to see if they had any of the new wave 3 amiibos and I saw the same guy that bought a shtiload of Rosalinas a couple weeks ago at my local target. He was trying to get more than one Lucario, but they had them in the back and it was only one per customer. He also bought the two Sheiks, and Fox they had left. I asked for a Lucario and that guy went to ask the employee if he can get more Lucarios for him, but he again told the scalper that only one per customer

Fucking scumbag.
 
Nice, Mega Man and Ike just got here.

Just waiting on Dedede and Sonic to be delivered (they are in route) and will hopefully pick up my Mega Knight in store when he gets here.

Really though, as far as Target goes I believe your only options are to spend $50 or pay using a Target Red Card (you should get one those anyway - they have a debit option which is awesome).

I have a preorder for Toad from BestBuy.com

Is there a way to change the shipping address on the order? I don't actually want him anymore and wish I could transfer the preorder over to someone else on GAF who is collecting. Anyone know if this is possible?

Who knows at this point. This is like day one of stores in the US selling him openly. The TRU I got mine from had the same number of him as Megaman, which was less then Toon Links by a lot, and more then King Dedede and Ike.
 
Alright, Sonic sold out. Come on, Dedede.

The other Amiibos say "sold out online" and he still says "not sold online."

Let's do this.

I had to call them to change my credit card on my preorders since my card got cancelled. Im guessing youd have to do the same.
 
I haven't really been looking at this thread, because while I haven't given up on buying amiibos, I am not going to go to great lengths to find them...I just wanna walk into a store and get one.

Anyway, I'm posting on here because I did manage to get Shiek today at Wal-Mart which I'm real happy about because I wanted her a lot. Is she common or hard to find?

Most stores seemed to get more Megaman than the others. So I'd say there's a good chance it will be back and somewhat easy to get for a while. Probably similar to Sheik. Just my guess.

Shit I have seen a single sheik in stores. Does anybody know when he'll be in Target stores? My TRU only got two this morn.

I have a Rosalina I don't really want and could probably trade for MM. I'm not a collector, I'll open it. Are there any decent deals on another region version of him? I'm willing to pay a little more
 
Just acquired Shulk, I haven't been in this thread too much but I would have to assume it's probably pretty rare, or will be.

Anyone else really feeling it? I know I am.
 
If anyone needs a megaman, Ike, sonic or fox. I have one.
I really want a Rosalina Metaknight lucario little Mac or pit in return, plzz. US version only

Absolutely it will be. You can bank on it. All the exclusives are looking to be honestly. It's kind of funny looking back at old comments, many people argued there was no way the exclusives would be rare.

Was at Wallyworld tonight and decided to check out the the Amiibo section just in case anything had changed in the past 2 months (as far as I knew my store never even received Wave 2 figures at all, lol)

And then I was (almost) shocked to see some Zelda's and Luigi's there! Would have bought Zelda but I already have her! <3

Even more surprising was they even had 3-4 Bowsers there, too. There was an empty peg for Toon Link as well. I think I might buy him in case he ever shows up there soon.

Most surprising of all, (not sure if this has been mentioned...) was that Peach, Yoshi and DK were on "sale" for $9.88. Interesting....anybody else notice this or something similar at your stores? o_o
 
If anybody would like to trade for Sheik, send me a PM, I had a few Sheiks I want to possibly swap around.

I also have a German Rosalina if anybody intends to open theirs and the packaging doesn't matter.

Really looking for Little Mac. :(

The sale part is new to me, but Zelda and Luigi are way over shipped almost everywhere. I think most retailers are phasing out the Mario crew for their Mario Party replacements.

Now that I'm playing Smash 3DS a lot it's a bummer not getting a n3DS today

Hopefully in the next few weeks I can get one.

I want to start training some amiibo :(
