On the one hand, I would be extremely skeptical.

After all, Sony can't meet demand in Japan, and it certainly doesn't need even more strain. Hell, there was talk at one point that it wouldn't even make it by March in the U.S.!

But then, I think back to how aggressive Sony is...did anybody with a brain (i.e., not people like sonycowboy) really think that Sony would be launching the motherfucker in Japan for about $200?

So, I'm extremely skeptical, but when it comes to Sony, it's hard to say that something is "impossible."

You saw this yourself? In North America? Tell more. I've yet to see a single PSP ad, and I've seen a million ones for the DS and other systems. I watch Adult Swim after all, and that's like video game ad central. PEACE.

Yeah saw it with my own eyes and I'm in California like I said it starts like your typical ps2 game spot then music starts, ps2 system swooshes onto the screen pauses for a while then swooshes out afterwards a couple of games also swoosh by like Jak 3 and so on and then the PSP apears on the screen pauses for a while so you can drool at what you can't have yet and then swooshes out, the spot ends like your ordinary ps2 game ad. I don't recall any commentary either its just stuff swooshing on screen to music.
