And it gets worse...Brendan Fraser as THE INCREDIBLE HULK

i cant for the life of me think of why this would be a good decision. pretty much everyone knows the basic premise behind Hulk, there's absolutely no need for an(other) origin story!!

I really liked the Hulk movie. I feel like it captured the idea of the character perfectly. Hulk is a very inner-space story about one man and his emotions and his inability to control them and what goes on in his head. Ang Lee did a beautiful job showing that. Everyone who bitches about how there wasn't enough action or HULK SMASH in the movie needs to read the ****ing comic. More than half of the time it's Banner trying to cure himself, hiding out, or running from someone, in his human form.

I also don't know why they can't just go on from what they've set up. They have the origin story completely out of the way now, they have Bruce down in some jungle stopping smugglers, they can take it there. Bruce is in hiding but there are Hulk sightings all over the world so the government tries to recreate the Hulk so they have something strong enough to stop him. They accidentally create the Abimination and send him after Banner. Somewhere along the way Bruce tries to cure him and makes him worse which makes him even more pissed off and there's your super HULK SMASH finale battle.

they are remaking the movie because HULK was a huge flop both critically and among the masses. They want to go back to the roots of Hulk. that he wasnt injected by his dad or whatever but he saved his friend and now a police detective is trying to find his identity.

But that's what happens in the first movie. He's saving his friend and the gamma bomb thing goes off and he gets radiated. It's pointless to remake the movie just to take out the bit about his dad. (Who, btw, didn't inject him with anything, he passed it on genetically)

screw another hulk movie, gimme a good TV series with a travelling banner like the old TV show. no CG either, hire a steriod freek.

The Hulk is suppossed to be a rampaging behemoth. He wasn't. He's just a terrible character to base a movie on.

Three things...

1. Hulk sucked ass. Just because Ang Lee tried to make something with substance doesn't mean I should applaud him for failing so completely to do so.

2. Making another Hulk movie with another origin story is just about the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Focus on the stuff that worked in the first movie (Hulk vs. military) and work from there. As much as I hated the first movie, those action scenes in the desert were pretty cool. And sorry, but that's what I'm paying to see Hulk for...the big guy chucking jeeps at fighter jets. Save the emotional depth for your real movies, Ang.

3. Brendan Fraser is a decent actor. He would make a perfectly okay Bruce Banner.

WTF spoiler tag that shit! :(

Dude, that tele-movie is over 15 years old and has been re-shown on cable many times since then. I think the statute of spoiler limitations has long since passed on this one.

I was looking forward to the original hulk and I thought people just misunderstood it...until I watched it

Man... :(

However, at least it was the best 2 hours of sleep I'd had in awhile. :(

The only man who can play the Hulk is...Jesus H. Christ

"As Christians, we believe that Jesus isn't really dead, but the world must think he is until he can control the raging beast inside...DUN DUN DUN DUUUNN!"

Fraser can be good given the right role. I think he's great in the first Mummy, for instance.

That said, the franchise (if you want to call it that) needs someone a bit more high-profile if they want to get people in the seats. Hulk doesn't have the name recognition that Spider-Man, Superman and Batman do. They need a great cast if they want this "sequel" to go anywhere.

Yeah, the injections were meant to cure him, not make him Green Baby Boy.
