Says is not compatible... Is there anyway to bypass that? Why wouldn't it be compatible, though?

There are usually 2 versions of each EA game, one for US and another for the rest of the world.
Try scrolling down in the market to see if another one shows up.

Didn't see this posted yet.

Mega Mall Story is now on the Market. $4.99.

Damn, tried using market enabler to buy both GTAIII and TinTin from gameloft but, even though they show on the market, when I click on buy it says the download isn't available in my country. :\

SypMouse is great... and has long loading times on my SGS-II O_o
Same here, I'm waiting for an update before putting time into the game.

Ugh no Oregon Trail in this Gameloft Market sale :(. Don't want anything else from them (don't like console-like games on a touchscreen only device). Oh well, maybe at some point.

This is all so confusing to me. I have no idea which games are worth a flip.

I was thinking of dead space..but not for 7 bucks :\

I'm at the point in game dev story where its gettihg repetitive and boring. But I wont lie, the first few days playing were addictive.

Any other games like it? preferably hd and formatted for tablets?

Which of the Android Gameloft games are any good? Tintin looks interesting but I can't tell anything about the others.
Don't know how touch controls are (Xperia Play user) but I found NOVA 2 and 9mm to be great.

They seriously need better writers and voice actors though.

Google started using a different payment method for the new market. I found the solution to be:

Uninstall the market update. Download Titanium Back Pro (when you first boot up the market after uninstalling the update you'll manage to buy at least one app, don't close the market or it will update)

Freeze Market Updater and the old market should work for you to buy games.

Gameloft tries to make "console-quality" games at least by looks, but they are fairly mediocre games with awkward touch screen controls, and the story and voice acting are hilariously cheesy. Their games that have smaller scope are better, like UNO or BlockBreaker.

So, just bought MC3, mostly because some gaffers say is one of the best looking mobile game out there. Well, I dunno if its the version I'm playing, but imo it's looks aren't anything special. But that's fine, what really bothers me are the controls.

The controls aren't manageable like GTA3 or limiting like Shadowgun, they are barely playable at all for me. I don't see myself finishing the first mission like this. :(

So, my question is, is there something of attachment that will help me with this? I looked the Store and the DS3/Wii doesn't seem to support Galaxy phones without rooting, something I don't want to mess with atm. The screen of my phone is fairly big, maybe something like fling controller could work.

Have they ported or made something similar as Soul of Darkness (Castlevania clone) outside of DSiWare? I enjoyed that one.

oh god epic astro story is even more addicting than the rest. But how do I sell/destroy houses? I fucked up and needed a path in the place of a house.

Okay guys, I took the plunge and bought myself a Gametel (since iControlPad doesn't fit my Galaxy Nexus) and it's working pretty damn well. Cordy for one became way easier to speedrun with physical controls. The .emu emulators support it flawlessly as well. The pad itself is really small which A) Makes it portable as all hell and B) Hurts my huge gorilla hands, especially if I'm trying to reach the shoulder buttons. Still, definitely beats touch controls. Paired with my HDMI adapter (720p output), this makes my G-Nex a friggin' Console :D

In the same vein, took some time last night to figure out how to pair a PS3 controller to my galaxy tab.

Using this app and instructions found here: http://www.dancingpixelstudios.com/sixaxiscontroller/about.html, I had the controller working flawlessly on my OG tab.

I understand that it works natively with ICS, but I have not tested it with my Nexus Tuna as of yet.

Also, Lair Defense (HERE) is CRAZY addictive and would definitely recommend if you are looking for a free tower defense game.

What are the best action puzzlers?

I've got Zookeeper and 180 Ultra. A Lumineslike would be great, but Rebirth seems to crash on my GN.

What are some of the best timesink games with a bit of depth? Things like tiny tower, xxxx-xxxx-Story, that sort of thing? Would prefer the games to be free/Lite version/Paypal accepted, because I don't have a credit card for the market. And any good RPGs or vast games?

Base Defense is the only one I like so far. It's a TD game with a lot of stuff to do with there's an upgrade system. The free version is the full game but with ads shown while loading levels.

Can you do carrier billing? Baseball Superstars is a good actiony timesink game (baseball + RPG elements). There's a full free version too.

There is a free version of dead space on Samsung apps for us Samsung peeps. just stunning on my gs2.. Wow!
Thanks for the heads-up! Noticed that Riptide GP (from Vector Unit, Hydro Thunder Hurricane devs) is also free on Samsung Apps as well.

I wish I could, but everything defaults to google checkout and for that I need a creditcard. I'm in the Netherlands if that's any indication.

GAF, I just got into Android territory, which games are a must thus far? Don't care if old, since I haven't had an Android/iOS before. (:

I'm trying to buy GTA III on the Samsung Galaxy, but I'm unable to find it in the marketplace....I'm currently not in the US, so maybe that has something to do with it?

If you can't find something on Android Market that usually means it's not compatible with your phone. Try logging in on their website from a PC to see if it's available in your region.

I don't recall if this game has been mentioned but for those in the US Highborn on the Amazon Appstore is quite fun. Dialog tries to be a little to witty at times but its a fun little strategy game. It most reminds me of Advanced Wars.
