When I saw this pic, it got my hopes up for an NES Super Dodgeball clone.

What is this free tapjoy offer?

Tapjoy is a service where it lists apps you can download (some free, some pay) and it gives you "coins". You exchange the coins to unlock content in the game.

Don't know if it's been posted yet, but StarDunk is like crack. It's like Peggle, but basketball -- in SPACE.

Seriously, you need to play this shit. The Earth floats in the background and the location of the top ten players (in an online match, they start every couple of minutes when you're playing) are shown as the leaderboard updates in real time.

The game is fucking awesome. If you can light up all four panels that compose the backboard, you get bonuses like multiplier x3, triple (or 4, 5, etc. depending on your perks) balls, and a wider rim.

You can also customize your balls to make them faster, bounce less, etc. Then you can attach skills like tapping the screen for a double jump.

This game... is fucking unreal. GET IT.

I've got a problem.

I downloaded Bouncy Mouse this morning and love it, but when I tried to upgrade to the paid ad free version through the game, google cancelled the transaction because it "Took too long to deliver." When I try it again, it says I already have a pending order for this item, even though I was never charged. I can't find anything in Google Checkout to clear the transaction or reset anything so I can try again. What am I missing?

Fun game though. Slick art style and solid physics/controls.

Want to shout out Chess Buddies. I was looking for a good way to play a game of chess with random people in a turn-based format that encouraged slow play (I wanted something I could occasionally check at work) and this fits the bill perfectly. Free version is ad-free, $5 "pro" version doesn't seem to add anything essential. I kind of want to buy it anyway, just to show support.

The only thing I wish the dev would add is an "auto-reject challenges if you have X games currently running" option.

Was just coming in to recommend this. Order of the stick aparently got a game ;-)
At the beginning it's tame but when things get tough, stuff goes frantically boom. Lot's of lovely effects and skills. So fun to play.

Also, that Kairosoft stuff looks really nice.
Hot Springs Story? Sign me up :-D

That said, ma, I've had some awesome gametime on this phone already. Interesting games, quirky, lovingly executed, presented on a really, really good screen. Portable heaven. And so cheap. I hope I can transfer some of my market purchases over to the vita. Well, if not, rebuying ain't expensive ;-)

I wasn't going to because I so rarely game on my phone but screw it. I bought Battleheart. Hopefully it's good :)

So, I just got the Asus Transformer, and while it's a great tablet so far, there arent many games. I am an iPhone guy, so I'm missing titles like Dungeon Hunter and Ascension. Are titles like this expected to eventually come out, or should I have gone with the iPad?

Also currently enjoying a game called X Construct. Build a bridge with beams and run the train across to see if it is structurally sound. Simple but fun!

I don't know if this applies to the US Store (I'm in Canada) but Grand Prix Story is 50% off, down to a more reasonable $2.50

Pretty much came to post this, now down to £1.60 in British money.

At that price.... FUCKING YOINK!!

Games selection is getting better, but if you mainly want a tablet for games, you got the wrong one. Although I hadn't though of this before, Kongregate games may work on there. I've got enough games to keep me busy that I don't usually check that out on my EVO.

I hate you. My fiancee and I have wasted hours playing this game since you posted it.

Say, has anyone tried Monopoly on the Asus transformer? I'm leery about buying it if all it's gonna do is force close.

I haven't, but can't you just try it and if it doesn't work, get a refund? You have fifteen minutes from when you purchase it to try it out and decide if you want it.

How is is possible that this game is not compatible with my Optimus V yet a game like Dungeon Defenders is??? Wtf! Can't install Stardunk.

Btw my phone is overclocked so it plays these games fine. Any sweet free games on the android market that you guys recommend?

Wow Soccer Club Story is as every bit addictive as the other ones. The matches do not differ much so far though, I have started just running the game on my tablet while I do something else and come back and manage the team when the matches end.

I hope they would hurry up and release all their games on android so I can give them all my money.

I'm not sure, dude. I get occasional slow down here and there, which sucks sometimes. I just watched my roommate play it on his iPhone4 and it's buttery smooth on there.

I honestly think they're catching up on their compat list since they probably ported it over. The iOS version has a much larger feature set, which is my reasoning behind the poor Android performance and limited compat list.

Still, amazing game. I'm still hooked, days later.

Thanks. I also bought Homerun Battle 3D, which is an interesting [and kinda fun] HR derby arcade style game.

I was going to get Heavy Gunner, but I had it's repetitive.

is it playable on Galaxy S2? I want to buy it earlier but the item descrption mention it may not work on same galaxy phone, so I hold on buying it.

Been looking for a new game to play on my Nexus One. Grave Defense HD looks solid but I heard it gets ridiculously hard even on Easy, to the point of frustration and rage quitting. Battleheart looks so awesome though, I might choose that one.

The unfortunate thing about GDHD is that every level is essentially the same. No matter what weapons you're being offered, the strategy remains unchanged: simple numbers game. Upgrade your units to level 5.

That's it. You sit there for sometimes 30 minutes doing this.

Cosmetic differences cannot mask the fact that the gameplay loop itself remains unchanged. Uninteresting additions such as AOE slow buff items and the like really don't improve the core gameplay at all.

Get Stardunk instead.

I tried Stardunk, didn't really get into it. :\...Maybe I'll try Robo Defense? Would that might be a better choice? The new Android Market really makes it seem like the games on Android have stepped up. Just the whole new visuals of the Market (like requiring big game art to be displayed on the Featured sections) makes it seem like the quality of games on Android is finally on the up and up.

Any recommendations for a good Tower Defense?

Loved GeoDefense in iOS a few years back, something in a similar spirit to that would be ideal. :)

Any apps that comes close to replicating the Incredible Machine? With Physics games being all the rage, I thought there would be more clones available. Tried Clever Contraptions, but it seems a bit too tame.

Hex defense easily. If you want more pizazz, get field runners

I don't know about the Galaxy S2, I have a G2 and can play it on that.

Works perfectly on my SGS-II. Pretty fun to play in shorter bursts. And really nice animation. All it would neef is a storymode and it would feel full-fledged. Posted from my phone ;-)

This game is fun but could have been so much better with a more fleshed out reward system, getting the same items over and over again gets old. Still its a great game =)

Thanks for the heads up

When is Gameloft going to get Dungeon Hunter, one or two, working on Tablets?

If you liked Fieldrunners, you'd do well to check out Myth Defense LF

At first glance it seems to be a shameless FR ripoff, but the map designs get more varied later on, and there's a RPG-ish element to the game where you can upgrade your weapons. IMHO it's the best TD game on Android.

Those guys lineup is really nice:

Yoo Ninja! is an awesome, awesome little game. A bit like a one-touch meatboy or rather, one-touch vvv. It's pretty short but also pretty tough. Will soon finish, I hear part 2 is even better... and harder.

Pumpkins vs. Monsters is an action puzzler, you match and fling pumpkins to defeat zombies. Very unique. I dare say, add a bit more content, a real story mode and voila, it would be a $20 popcap smash hit. The music really sells this too.

Can't wait what they'll push out next.

YES! Me and my dad both had iphones and played chess with friends every day. We both had like 10 games going at a time. Then we both upgraded to the galaxy s and saw that words with friends was coming soon so we figured chess with friends would be right around the corner.

My dad probably wouldn't have upgraded from iphone if he knew chess with friends wasn't coming.

But finally, this is pretty close to chess with friends and finally we both can get our turn based play when you got a little downtime chess game.

This is as close to chess with friends as you're gonna get on android so far. Awesome. Chess Buddies, get it!

and buy it to support the dude to get better servers!

Bouncy Mouse is an absolute blast. At first glance it looks like an Angry Birds knock-off but its actually a platformer with a similar slingshot mechanic. Far more fun than Angry Birds to me. It looks great on my Transformer.

(Sorry if the link doesn't work. I'm typing this on my phone.)
