I dunno. I'd go with the Nexus One if I had both available to me. 4.3 inches is like the size of my PSP screen, and a kickstand in the back will probably make for an awkward bulge. I don't need an FM radio either (got my Zune for my media needs), so I'd take a smaller AMOLED with the same amount of power and probably about the same screen resolution with slightly higher pixel density any day.teiresias said:Wouldn't getting the Supersonic and the Nexus One nearly at the same time be somewhat redundant? What's the spec difference (aside from the screen size and the radio frequencies) between the two? Would one be significantly faster/snappier than the other? I'm up for a phone upgrade in June on Sprint, so I'm really hoping one of them is available at that point.
This. I had a Helio Ocean back in the day, and it had the best keyboard I've personally ever used. It was clicky and solid. Much better than my G1 keyboard.jonnybryce said:The size of keys on keyboards are surprisingly insignificant compared to the feel and shape of them. A big, flat keyboard will suck in comparison to a smaller keyboard with domed, distinctive keys and satisfying clicks. It has potential.

Samsung I8520 'Halo' Android 2.1 phone with 3.7-inch Super AMOLED
To be revealed tomorrow obviously.
it has a pico projector. it looks like a mediocre phone to be honest. does a lot of things decently but nothing amazing.BoboBrazil said:Umm, why does it have a DLP logo on the back? That is a tv technology made by Texas Instruments.
BoboBrazil said:I'd rather have the Supersonic than the Nexus One for Sprint, because of the wimax. 4g tethering on my unlimited data plan![]()

BoboBrazil said:4g is like 10 times faster than 3g. The supersonic will be the first phone out to support that network and 4g is actually available in my area nowThat would save me alot on internet costs too.

Tru dat. I'm holding out for a QWERTY phone from HTC because of XDA. The Inbrics phone / MID looks pretty awesome, but I doubt it would get the kind of community support HTC devices have. Nexus 1 specs (or higher) with hardware keyboard, MAKE IT HAPPEN HTC!BoboBrazil said:It has alot of great features. How could you say it won't be great at anything when there aren't even any videos out to showcase performance? Big test will be to see if it can be rooted. My htc vogue spoiled me. I won't buy a phone if it isn't supported with rom upgrades by xda and ppcgeeks now![]()
YES. I wish T-mobile would hurry up with their HSPA+ rollout for Los Angeles in the meantime.BoboBrazil said:4g is like 10 times faster than 3g. Do you need a physical keyboard? Do you want to do some hackery?Cheetos is Pretty Awesome said:Quick Q: HTC G1, MyTouch or Motorola Cliq?

Glad to finally have android in my life. :lol
Cheetos is Pretty Awesome said:I honestly would not care either way. I'm leaning towards the Cliq since it has a micro-USB port like my old phone, but it looks like the screen's not up to par with the HTC choices.

whoa. thanks for selling that to me. now i just need to know the price and release date!Andrex said:No. But since it's Android it can do VOIP.
And you know what? It does 3G and Wi-Fi, so it'd actually be feasible.
Seriously I can't get over this device. I guess what really sets it apart is the PixelQi screen that lets it double as an eBook Reader... but with 10x the features of the Kindle or Nook (as much as I wanted the nook...)
HDMI out for 1080p video... three USB ports for mouse, keyboard, and something else... SD slot... capacitive multitouch screen on top of the PixelQi goodness... unbelievable 16-160 hour battery life... Dual-core Tegra CPU... swivel camera... aforementioned 3G... and it's packing Android.
It's like, every single feature anyone could want from a tablet today, be it Kindle or iPad or what have you, is rolled into this one device. And then some.

Call me crazy, but I was under the impression that the Mobile World Congress was not a 1 day event.Brettison said:Eh call me crazy, but so far I haven't seen anything that has been that great for Android phone wise as MWC. In terms of tablets of netbooks and stuff yes, but IDK nothing else has been that thrilling. Plus didn't we know most of that Sony X10 info?

Ugh. I'm getting too tired to be posting if I can't even read anymore :lol on that, I would agree with you. Some weird phones running outdated models of Android with no plans of updating and some random crap that will either flop or the US won't actually see it, nothing that really interests me.Brettison said:Ergo why I said SO FAR..... SO FAR being the key words there.![]()

HTC's phones, which have been leaked already, look amazing. I'm hyped in spite of myself. I should probably have looked at the schedule :lolAndrex said:HTC's press briefing is tomorrow.
