The tweening looks very mimimal. Looks pretty good to me. What does look bad is the unshaded characters instead of two-tone shading like the original.

Looks like fun. I was a huge fan of Animaniacs back in the day.
Hopefully with this being on Hulu it’ll be able to retain the “getting by the censors” type of humor.

How else can you interpret "Never mansplain-y" though? It's not even a joke, but just a reference. The line doesn't make fun of mansplaining, it's not critical of it, so it comes off as woke. If it wasn't meant to be, it ended up a terrible line that at the very least should not be in a trailer for the show. Not that I'm all that invested in any of this, just my two cents.

As for the trump scene, that is literally what they did all the time in older episodes. Suggesting otherwise either shows you have no clue on the politics of that era or you never watched the originals.

And this goes beyond just Left & Right Politics. For example, the creators of Grand Theft Auto have the self awareness to not just follow shitty trends. And these are the same guys who make fun of America harshly yet I still enjoy their games.

To be honest, there's a very big difference in the way we criticize and make fun of Trump now vs the way Clinton was mocked and criticized at the time. It's really not the same. We are more divided than ever now and people might just be crazier than they have ever been recently (look at the Chris Pratt thread)
For me, practically everything rebooted has been a huge letdown. Can't even really think of an example where it wasn't which is why I'm not holding out for this one since the official trailer has signs of it being woke already.
