I think this will be the first Marvel film I skip, I'm not feeling it.

Between the casting of Paul Rudd, terrible trailer and being burned out on comic book movies altogether, this just looks like a big no thank you. Marvel peaked with Winter Soldier tbh (which was my movie of the year 2014).

Peyton Reed will be at the comic store I used to frequent signing free posters. Also there is a giveaway for tickets to tomorrow's London premiere. I'll be in the area today, I wonder if I should head down and try my luck.

Clearly someone hasn't seen the recent trailers.

Its really good, I liked it a lot. Very different beast from AOU (obviously)

Ok question time-my 7 year old daughter really wants to see Ant-Man, but my wife is skeptical due to the PG-13 rating. She talked her way into seeing Ultron with us though. :)

Would you say this movie is fairly tame for a 7 year old? No excessive violence, and no sexual innuendo stuff?

Its marvel so yes. Only watch out for Daredevil on Netflix.

I have modest expectations. I absolutely love the premise and I think that it's good to have a more personal Marvel film after the bloated nonsense that a lot of the other movies have become. That said, I am a little worried about it due to the production issues.

It's got a chance to be good is all I'm saying.

Greatest OP?
Greatest OP.

Amazing OT.

Seeing people on Twitter hyping this up from advanced screenings, IT'S ALMOST HERE.
Oh hey, such a nice pic of Scott and Janet.
:(

Man, you have Finland, Norway and Sweden in the "July 22" premiere list. Of course we're forgetting Denmark again... ;)
Worstguay is on the list, but Bestguay isn't, extremely biased list.
Azerbaijan is misspelled as well

I don't understand why the images in the first post are so small.

But what if Chris Evans has a cameo in it?

Box Office projections look like 65 million on the high end right now. What do you think would be a successful opening?

Obviously we shouldn't expect it to match Guardians massive 94 million. I think 65 is acceptable since that's Thor and Cap 1 money but Marvel would probably be happier with 75-80 considering how much the brand has grown since those days

I wasn't look forward to this because of the bad trailers but the TV spots that have been running are hilarious. The "Nailed it" clip is the one that made me change my mind. They've also got my son on board.

Once upon a time, Guardians of the Galaxy was projected to make $65 million on its Opening Weekend. While it's good to keep expectations low, there's a decent chance that Ant-Man could outperform its projected box office opening if the reviews are positive.
