TLC's silence is deafening when it comes to this family, always has been. They absolutely refuse to acknowledge their evils. It's disgusting.

With that being said, even my wife says she's glad she watched the season finale already because she won't be watching it again. She's seen every episode, watches it religiously (pardon the pun). She never believed me that these people are not what the TV portrays them to be until now. So either way it's done for I think.

I'd say back then he should have been far more severely disciplined; but I'm not sure prison is/was the answer for something like that.

The fact his parents let the first incident happen without doing much of anything, waiting until several more of their daughters (or others) had reported more behavior to them.. then bullshitted about sending him to a "Counselling" is more disgusting to me.

They still parent several small children; IMO, they should be getting investigated by child protective services over their admitted inaction in this case. I also wonder why the Police in 2006 just threw their hands up as if they couldn't do anything because the statute of limitations was up.. I see no reference or suggestion that the parents ability to keep their kids safe was questioned, despite them essentially lying during the investigation.

Whether she would consider it abusive or not, kind of depends on a lot of factors - ages, how many times it happened, what exactly happened etc. Kids can do strange things, and puberty can be a very messed up and confusing time.

Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee is coming out swinging for Josh Duggar ... saying he should be forgiven for his sins, because the alleged molestation happened when he was a minor with poor judgment.

The former Arkansas Governor is famously tight with the whole Duggar family, and made it clear ... he's standing by them now that the molestation investigation has come to light.
