pricey, but seems like a really sweet mouse and i want to see what people think of it.
 
I have the 510 and it's absolutely flawless. So I'd assume you could trust a 1000. similar design too:

well it has an 8-way tilt scroll wheel, its the first laser mouse and has a lithium-ion battery. the battery indicator is just a minor feature when compared to those.

I have an MX 500 and it's fucking pissing me off. The left click button, the most used button of anything ever, doesn't register properly anymore after about ooooh... say 7 months. It's aggravating in FPS and RTS games, let alone regular web surfing functions.

I would pick up another one though, it's that good.
 
I just picked up an MX510 -- haven't tried it yet, but it looks pretty damn sweet. I'm waiting for the new mousepad to show up first...
