anyone? someone explain this place to me. i felt sick being there. i swear to allah while i was there someone said "who cares...you'll look like a million dollars in it" bah. rich people are sickening.

I have family that will return shoes they have had for 2 or 3 years.. So I can say that their return policy rocks.. The things that brothers do..well at least they are not looting..

i still dont know who the fuck ben sherman is. no reason for 189.00 jeans and 125.00 shirts. i bought a cool penguin shirt though. :D

There's a Nordstrom in the mall next to my university. Quite fancy indeed, my mom is friends with the ladies who work the shoe and purse departments. Their cafe is pretty good, too.

"You'll look like a million dollars" is just some expression. Why did that upset you?

And Nordstrom's really isn't like that upscale. Go to Saks or Neiman Marcus for that.

when i went, there was a guy playing piano. i was all like 'huh?' and stuff

That's stupid, people pretending to be rich and all..but people do this in like Wal-Mart, or Best Buy also.. what does this have to do with Nordstorms exactly?

:lol Oh...

Well, it really wasn't a "patriotism-themed" shirt...just a regular, blue shirt with "New York" in white fabric.

I was looking for a shirt that said "I <3 NYC" or something like that, but they were all sold out. I seached everywhere...Nordstrom was my last stop. Before then, I had never even been inside one (with the intent to shop).

I still have it, too. It's a really nice shirt. I wear it all the time.

People pretent to be rich in Walmart? i guess the reasoning would the same for those who do it in the higher dollar stores, but... o_O

I thought WalMart was for the cheapass consumer. By cheapass, I mean budgeted and wants to save as much cash as possible.

I'll shop at Nordstrom from time to time. They have a nice selection, and the return policy really is great. One of my coworkers who hadn't shopped there before told me how he bought a $100 pair of pants for an important meeting and ripped them the first day he wore them when they caught on the edge of a wood table. He looked at me with disbelief when I said he could probably return them. Sure enough, Nordstrom fully refunded him.

*reads post in disbelief* O_O

When it comes to department stores in Seattle, I shop at Nordstroms from time to time, but I typically stick to Bon/Macy's as they're cheaper. I prefer Banana Republic for my clothes, but lately I have been buying some sweaters and dress shirts at Target. The quality is a lot lower, but I can buy a lot more and they actually have a few things I like.
